Hold the costume like a hoodie sweatshirt, with the drawstrings in your fingers and put the costume over your pet's head. 2. Place your pet's front paws in the legs. You can help the paws into the legs by gently pulling on the back fabric. 3. Gently adjust the back drawstrings to your pet's girth and to adjust the leg length (lower drawstring). Make sure to leave at least 2 fingers of space for comfort. 4. Give your pet some time to get used to the costume, especially the hood, as pets need time and positive associations to understand new situations. Push the hood back like a hoodie sweatshirt, give your pet attention, fun and treats until he or she seems comfortable. Then, you can adjust the hood on your pet's head with the elastic drawstring.
