Finally bought a replacement! We bought our first Grillart Bristle free scraper 3 years ago and only this spring did the coils start to break apart. Fantastic grill brush!

This is my 2nd time buying one of these. They work well, but it does eventually come apart and the little pieces of stainless wire will come off and be on your grill. So be careful. But it works better than any other grill brush so...

I picked up this bristle-free grill brush to avoid the sketchy wire brushes, and I’m really impressed. The triple coil stainless design scrubs off stuck-on grime like a champ, and the wide scraper makes it easy to get those tough spots. The reinforced handle feels sturdy in my hand, and I love that I don’t have to worry about metal bristles coming loose into my food. It works on all my grill grates and leaves them looking clean without a ton of effort. After using it a few times, I can say it’s become my go-to BBQ tool. Cleaning the grill is way less stressful, and I actually enjoy maintaining it now. In the past I've used stainless steel brushes with wire bristles, but stopped buying them when I started hearing cases of people ending up with bristles that shed in their food. Yuck. Gives me heebie jeebies just thinking of a bristle getting driven into my gum between my teeth. I shudder at the thought! Anyway, I bought a very stiff, hard plastic, BBQ grill brush that was supposed to work as well as wired brushes but without that danger. It was good, cleaned well, and lasted about 10 uses before I had to throw it away because it gradually melted and there weren't enough unmelted bristles left to clean the grates. So back to square one.... Bought this one on the premise that it's long-lasting stainless steel and should clean just as good (hopefully) as a regular wired stainless steel BBQ brush. Well, it doesn't. It's solid and well built, and it's nice and hefty and feels good in my hand. But the bottom line is that it just doesn't clean as well or as quickly as a regular stainless steel brush with wire bristles. This cleans "just OK". But it takes three times as many passes to clean as a wire brush, and you also need to run it vertically against the angle of the way the grates run in order to clean. So for now, I'm going to keep using it until something better comes along. If you don't mind the extra time it takes to clean your grill grates, then give this a try, particularly if you're like me, squeamish about getting a piece of wire wedged between your teeth. I'd appreciate any recommendations.

Grill scraper functions as advertised. Does a great job of cleaning. Follow instructions put it in a bucket of water and have the grill hot. Does an excellent job

This brush is built like a tank and works as advertised! Very efficient! I recommend this brush greatly!

Steel starts breaking within a year, even if you're gentle with your cleaning. Then you gotta be careful you don't stick yourself with the ends that are poking out.

I have been using this for about 2 years and am very pleased. It works well. Cleans the grates better than my old wire brush
