I was looking for a 'dash cam' for when I ride my bicycle. I mounted one of the Boblov clips to the front of my helmet with velcro and zip ties, and it works GREAT for bicycling and taking video for bicycling! I'm sure there are a lot of good ways to mount it, but this method was pretty good for stabilizing the video (as opposed to clipping to your shirt and riding). Most of the time, I'm able to make out license plates. I usually run it on 720p. Battery life is good and usually last several hours. Recordings at night are a tad less clear, but still very good. I think this is an excellent cheaper alternative for a monitoring camera for bicycling. The video loop records and retains several trips worth of footage. It records over old video when it fills up. It has a wide angle/view (kind of like fish eye, but not quite). It is an excellent camera.

After several weeks of using the camera everyday 8-10 hours a day it has proven to be extremely great. The battery lasts at least 10hours as long as you put the video to 720p and don't record constantly. i use this for my job delivering propane most of the time the videos are no more than 5mins long but sometimes it can be 20mins long depending on the customer. anyway the camera has a lot of features that makes it pretty reliable night vision, flashlight, emergency siren that sounds like a police siren and you can take a picture as well. it has a screen saver that makes the screen goes black to save on battery which helps. the clip holds up really great i can put it on my work shirt, which is just a short sleeve short , i put it on my collar and it stays there and it doesn't bother me. Now i will say the details listed are wrong about the weight when i weighed it it came to be 17oucnes, now you think that's heavy but it really isn't. The size is about the size of a credit card and a little thicker the a deck of cards. i will make an update if i have any problems come up with the camera , but for now there is none. i recommend getting the camera it work for me and i am very pleased.

This is a great body cam. I had bought 2 previous ones from other companies, but while sufficient for certain purposes, I right away realized they fell short in other crucial areas. Most importantly to me, the pros to this one is the lengthy battery life, night vision/IR, motion stability, loop recording, easy to tell if it’s actually recording, ability to set date/time on the cam itself without having to go thru a USB cord to a computer, and a screen to view the footage without having to put the memory card in a computer or device to view it. However, the downsides which prevent this from being perfect/5* for me are these: mostly the fact that the clip/s, even the large sturdy one, isn’t sufficient in length and heft to enable the cam to remain in the right position/angle, as the weight of the cam pulls the clip down and I’m left with footage facing towards the ground/floor, and not at the higher level I need it to catch (a solution is to clip it horizontally where it stays out much better, only issue is the footage is now in portrait and not landscape). Other lesser cons are the clip/s lack the ability to rotate, the product pic does indicate otherwise but such is not the case, at least with the clips packaged with my cam. Also, the date/time is so tiny as to be unreadable when viewing footage on the cam, so when there’s a part I want to review, I’m unable to just skip to the time it happened and instead have to FF until I see it. Lastly, while it’s good that the clip stays firmly and securely in place, it’s a nightmare to remove! Despite these issues, overall this is a great cam and I don’t feel the need to look further for another one. Do wish tho that there was the option of ordering replacement clips, just in case it should get damaged or accidentally misplaced.

Just got this the other day and started playing around with it. So far, I'm not impressed. The video quality is okay at best. I tried recording at night, and it was worthless (I may have to tweak the settings). The best quality setting is 1080; anything above that does a weird banding thing (lines rolling down the video). The built-in microphone is quite poor, and the camera is incompatible with my wireless mic, which is a huge disappointment; however, the wired mic is decent. I'll keep testing it for a few more days and mess with the settings, but I have a feeling I'll be returning it soon. All that said, it's a decent beginner's vlogging camera for the price. With tax season coming up, and if you're serious about getting a nice vlogging camera, you might want to wait for that tax return check to come in and get something a little nicer.

I purchased 3 of these Cameras, these are lifesavers. I like the fact that I can use a 128GB card. Battery life is very long. The seller is beyond wonderful in my book. One camera took a full charge (my mistake while programming it) and oddly, as soon as I turned it on the battery bar goes red (I used the wrong option on the camera). Past dash cam seller’s⬇️, I would have to and it back and purchase another one aka no customer service. Not BOBLOV16 at all. I contacted the seller for an exchange, they agreed and I’m so happy. I won’t have to just return it and re-purchase a new one. Happy Snoopy Dance. Awesome news, it wasn’t the battery, it was me. Hubby is better with tech and I’m almost as good as him in welding. Well, hubby changed some settings and saved me a trip to send this camera back. I left the above to show that as a smart @$$ woman, sometimes I make mistakes. My opinion of BOBLOV16 is still a 10. This seller has such wonderful customer service, Thank You BOBLOV16, consider me a lifetime customer. The communication between BOBLOV16 and myself was awesome. That’s priceless nowadays , they care about the customers. Finally an awesome experience between a Dash Cam seller and myself. I own a box of all dead dash cams. I use one in the rear of my vehicle and one in the front. Imagine how much money I’ve saved and we were able to help someone that got into a hit and run situation. I can write a list of all the Pro’s, but someone has already done that. Sorry no Con’s on these cameras to speak of. You can’t go wrong with a BOBLOV product. I wanted to wait until I had a chance to use this camera for a while before leaving a review. This camera has terrible audio at best. The audio is muffled and difficult to understand when playing back. The video, when it works, is high quality. The video quality is good in both day and night modes. There is still a serious flaw with the video recordings however. The camera is constantly switching between day/night mode with an annoying and relentless audible relay clicking. The buttons on the side of the camera are not easily accessible. You have to "feel around" to find the correct button to start and stop the recording feature. This camera would be far better if the stop/start record button was raised, and not flush with the other two buttons. Turning the camera on is also tricky. If the camera is in standby mode, you have to long click the record button to start recording. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does record. . You won't know if your recording has started, unless you remove the camera and look at it. When ending the recording, the camera vibrates to let you know you have stopped the recording. No such feature is available when the recording is started. The battery life seems to be adequate. I would not recommend this camera. I would recommend finding another brand that has a remote control for starting and stopping your recordings. I have had several body cameras of various manufacturers. While this one has some really nice features, they missed the mark on the most important features of the camera, both audio and video.

Couple of things if you are wary of purchasing this camera. If you are looking for something that is going to be functional and useful, BUY IT if you want a camera which can switch from night vision to regular automatically, BUY IT if you want a camera that has several different mounting options, see what this unit offers before you commit. I use this camera for my job, at night, driving for 4ish hours. it works perfectly for this. Pros: Great night vision Great 720p, 1080p and 1296p video quality (30fps) Long lasting battery Menu system is easy to navigate and understand Once card is formatted on unit, you can use it on your PC to watch/copy/archive Can use up to a 128gb micro SD card (Sold Separately) Nice heft to the unit, doesn't feel cheaply made. Support is polite and generally helpful Cons: (some are only personal preferences) To charge, it uses mini USB, older interface, older cords, not available everywhere. Night vision coming on makes a distinct click sound, which seems to be mechanical switching of lenses Night vision cannot control rather the IR LED are lit or not (shortens battery length) Limited mounts, comes with an epaulet/belt clip and a shorter clip on clip No other mounts available for the unit that I have been able to find Company in China, so, Support is delayed unless you are awake at night. Like I said before, some are just personal preferences, BUT... I highly recommend this unit if it fits your needs.

UPDATE: Camera USB socket was defective. No ability to charge camera. Replacement was sent immediately upon filing claim. Got it the next day. SO, if something goes wrong the remedy is prompt. to the buyer's favor. Highly recommend this product. This camera represents what is obviously R&D at its best. I bought the prior mode and used it for near a year. It crapped to bed at the USB input point. The USB on this model has been changed to a Micro (wider all around design of plug) from the thin Macro. The internal memory of the prior was is actually an SD micro card that plugs into an on PC board socket then held in place by a sticky tape strip. This updated camera features a SD micro card slot that is accessible just like most electronic devices. The battery is for more lasting. And the function buttons! Like the playback control buttons being located just below the video screen. The side function buttons are recessed and surrounded by molded in plastic in shape of the buttons. This protections from the buttons being pressed accidentally. This model is waterproof. I use it as a body came for my service dog. We are out in all types of weather conditions. In closing this review, I offer what could be the best endorsement. Spent a week in Lake Placid NY beginning day after thanksgiving. Snowed all Friday with temps dropping to 22 F. My dog and I ran through fresh fallen snow. The camera got covered and extreme exposure to moisture, cold and vibration. This camera made the cut and then some. I recommend this model of camera.

This is a good security camera with several hours runtime per charge. The image quality is like something from 10yrs+ ago with not stabilization whatsoever. But it is easy to setup and use. I have a goprostyle clipon for my backpack and had to modify one original clip to fit. The istructions are short but understandable, even how the uSD car is inserted is shown in a photo but you might need glasses or some binocular to see the contact side should face the screen side. I use the camera for security reasons, when shooting some action and shorter clips I use a couple of actioncameras of well known brands.

Dopo parecchi mesi di utilizzo sia professionale che privato devo dire che è davvero concorrenziale con le costose e blasonate spacciate per il meglio per polizia, corpi speciali e così via... questa si spara in stand-by quasi 24 ore e in registrazione 12 ore senza problemi. E' leggera e facile da pinzare ovunque e non appesantisce l'abbigliamento tipo la polo o la camicia, sul GAP sparisce allo sguardo tanto che è compatta e discreta, Ho messo un adesivo nero sulla marca e uno sul forellino del microfono per ridurne i fruscii col vento e nonostante non è minimamente compromesa l'efficienza di registrazione audio. Ho le seguenti impostazioni: infrarosso sempre off perchè anche con poca luce la visione è eccellente; massima risoluzione video 1080P30, il buffer di 15 secondi lo imposto solo in pre evento e non post evento. Il loop è sempre inserito e lo spegnimento monitor è automatico dopo 30 secondi. Registrazione audio sempre On. Step video di 5 minuti. Toni tasti OFF, volume device Low, vibro prompt On. La accendo in stand-by ad inizio turno ed avvio la registrazione all'occorenza. In moto invece la tengo in registrazione costante. La funzione dash cam non la tengo attiva. La ricarica la eseguo con dispositivo spento, lo dico perchè appena la si mette in carica anche se spenta, si accende e impiega paracchio tempo in più a completarsi. Unica pecca sono i comandi che non hanno al tatto particolari segni distintivi quindi bisogna avere ben chiara la posizione dei tasti per attivarla e il cavo di ricarica è un obsoleto miniUsb fuori moda. Nel complesso è davvero positiva e utile.
