## Description

Brand New

## Features

- Full Set of 48 Colors: The set holds 48 Colors of oil pastels, one stick per shade, so a full palette is ready from the first page. Each round stick measures about 2.76 x 0.39 inches for a steady, comfortable hold.
- Smooth Oil-Based Color: The oil-based formula is soft and glides onto paper with little effort. Use light pressure for fine lines and accents, or press firmly to lay down dense, even coverage across larger areas.
- Blend and Layer by Hand: Work neighboring shades together with a fingertip, paper stump or clean cloth to build gradients. Layer a light tone over a darker one to shift values without water, brushes or extra mediums.
- Classroom to Studio Use: These oil pastels for artists suit sketchbooks, art classes, mixed paper studies and finished work on textured pastel paper or card stock. Teachers can also hand out single shades as oil pastel crayons for group projects.
- Tips for Soft Sticks: Since the formula is soft, grip each piece close to the drawing end and keep pressure moderate to limit snapping. Store the box at room temperature away from direct heat so every color stays firm between uses.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do these oil pastels blend well? Do they require fixative?**
A: I used them they are creamy not chunky and beautiful to blend even with the finger..i used oil and acrylic fixative for the painting i did with oil pastel..it worked very well but i couldn't stand the smell and i got sick..next day i tried sealing the painting with white glue and it worked like charm ..so i think you don't have to worry about how to seal it you can even use PVA glue or oxy resin or oil pastel fixative if that's ok

**Q: where made please?**
A: YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE. A BIG CLUE IS THE PASTELS ARE MADE WITH KAOLIN CLAY.,,THERE ARE NOT TOO MANY BIG KAOLI.N DEPOSITS IN THE WORLD.. SEARCH FOR KAOLIN DEPOSITS WORLD -WIDE AND GO FROM THERE. KAOLIN MAKES THE FINEST DINING CHINAWARE. THINK MY REALLY GOOD CHINA WAS MADE IN JAPAN...SORRY I CANNOT BE SPECIFIC...OH, MUNGYO US DISTRIBUTED OUT OF DENVER, COL...MIGHT SEARCH THERE ALSO...GOOD LUCK

**Q: can you use them in adult coloring books and grayscale?**
A: Oil pastels, depending on the oils used as binders, either dry very slowly (a year to fully cure) or never dry at all. If you don't plan to preserve your pages, then I think you may enjoy using them, but the pages will smear if they come into contact with other pages, your hand, etc.

**Q: When using these as background in a coloring book is a fixative needed?**
A: I've never used in a coloring book, but the colors can smear. For my paintings, I always use a fixative. Better safe than sorry. By the way, I really like these oil pastels. Not as soft as Sennilier, but not bad. They're still a professional grade pastel. They're also more affordable. Hope this helps.
