The newer-looking ones are fresh ones I just put on for a race in a few weeks. (Never changes things just before a race, btw. Test everything first.) Should be a little bit tighter like I like. Observer the metal plates under the cleats. I strongly advise using those to protect your expensive Italian riding shoes and their carbon fiber sole. After two years of riding, the plates are worn but still serviceable. Anyhow, I'm still not a fan of the extra (up to) few seconds it takes to re-click back in. Funnily it did not work with the screws included in this package as the screws were for way smaller hex key and looked funky so I used the old screws I had. - They seem to be good replicas but feel strange, could be because I forgot how new cleats feel. **Q: Can anyone verify if these are real, legitimate, genuine Crank Bros cleats?
