Review: Super soft and washable - This carpet/rug arrives folded. Just place it down and voila, you will have a super soft rug, with a gripper back, that is machine washable. There is "braided" type edges, which add just the right finishing framing touch. The feel of the rug is similar to a super soft flannel shirt/sheet. I have noticed the rug does absorb fluids but with the gripper back, at least if the amount is small, it won't spread to the floor beneath the rug. The checkered design will compliment pretty much any room design. I got the beige and white color, which the beige matches almost exactly to the (I am in a rental townhouse), typical beige carpeting. With this rug being machine washable, you should be able to get pretty much any small spills up with a sponge or the like. For the bigger messes and/or the periodic cleaning of the rug, just place in a large capacity washer or if you have a washer without an agitator, it might be able to accommodate it; for cleaning.

This carpet/rug arrives folded. Just place it down and voila, you will have a super soft rug, with a gripper back, that is machine washable.
