Bought this for: 1. Washing the dog in the bath as we don't have a hand shower. Getting another one for the kitchen tap to wash him outside. 2. To fill up a water storage bag in the bath in an emergency situation. Tried a temporary solution first, but it did not fit our tap. The install is simple and the solution is elegant, so can stay in place. Minus one star as fitting the adaptor is a bit fiddly. There is no clear click or indication whether you pushed it on deep enough.

I had new mixer taps installed last year, git the jet wash out and realised it wouldn't fit the taps. Our old one used to leak and had to cover with a towel anyway. This is absolutely amazing!! The instructions are a bit naff, but we figured it out. You have to first unscrew the end off your tap, then install the metal part of this bit of kit. Everything you need is here, it even has a good filter to pop inside the attachment. Once you've installed that, you then add the plastic part, and click one side across to secure it in place. It's very well made, doesn't feel flimsy but feels solid. £17 well spent, we no longer need to look to have an outside tap installed, saving us around £50. Any bad reviews either their taps are the wrong size or they've installed it wrong. This is a bit of kit you never knew you needed. My son is out jet washing the garden. Not a single leak from the tap.

I purchased this connector as I had bad experiences with other product snd this looked A nice and easy product but sturdy! Yes! It’s exactly that! Super simple, easy to install by myself a mother of 2! I’m very happy with the product! I give 5 out of 5 here!

I have tried many different types of connectors before with differing results, but this one by far is the best. Very little to no leakage. Easy to install for me even though I have arthritis in my hands. I installed it on a swan neck mixer tap.

It's a great idea, except they ruined it by including a cheap, badly designed tap head size adapter. If you have the bigger tap size already, then you won't need to use the adapter and you'll probably be fine, but if like me you DO need it, then it goes something like this: Remove your existing aerator Screw on the sizing adapter Screw on the main adapter to the sizing adapter Use the included wrench to tighten the main adapter (it DOES need tightening, or it leaks) The problem is... and this is so stupid... when you use the wrench to tighten the main adapter, this tightens the sizing adapter on to your tap too - and when you untighten the main adapter, the SIZING ADAPTER STAYS ON YOUR TAP!!! It sticks fast. There's no way to get it off. It's shiny and has no method of gripping it whatsoever, with a tool or otherwise. Unlike the main adapter, there is no way to connect a spanner to turn it. Other sizing adapters have a hex shape at the bottom or are shaped to take a spanner, or at least have knurling. This one has nothing. I had to damage it in the end just to remove it. It's made of really flimsy thin metal so as soon as you grip the bottom or apply pressure to the sides it'll bend or mangle the threads. So disappointed that a good product is let down by a cheap adapter. On the first and only occasion that I got to use it, it performed acceptably with only very minor leakage under pressure when the garden hose was off, and almost no leakage when the garden hose was releasing water.

Plastic wrech was useless for removing old faucet fixing. Had to find a wrench. The hose connector is difficult to secure to the fixing. Have to push it on real hard at the same as pressing the lock button.

Looks like a good quality product but sizing didn’t fit.

Wij hebben geen buitenkraan dus met dit koppelstuk op de kraan kunnen we toch planten sproeien buiten in de tuin. Je moet wel even in de gaten krijgen hoe ver beide kanten tegengesteld aangedraaid moeten worden maar dat lukt redelijk snel.

Ich habe mir den Gardena Hahnverbinder gekauft, um meinen Außenwasserhahn im Garten mit dem restlichen Gardena-System zu verbinden. Wie bei fast allen Gardena-Produkten merkt man auch hier sofort: Das ist solide Markenqualität – funktional durchdacht, sauber verarbeitet und absolut alltagstauglich. 🚰 Montage & Passform Die Installation war denkbar einfach: Altes Verbindungsstück abgeschraubt, Gardena-Hahnverbinder aufgeschraubt – fertig. Das Gewinde greift präzise, und dank der hochwertigen Gummidichtung sitzt der Adapter absolut dicht. Kein Tropfen Wasser geht verloren, auch bei höherem Wasserdruck. Wichtig: Gardena bietet unterschiedliche Größen an. Ich habe mich für die Variante mit 26,5 mm (G3/4'') entschieden, die auf die meisten Außenwasserhähne passt. Wer einen kleineren Wasserhahn (z. B. im Hauswirtschaftsraum oder in der Küche) hat, sollte auf die 21 mm (G1/2'')-Version achten – Gardena kennzeichnet die Größen gut sichtbar auf der Verpackung. 🔗 Kompatibilität & Systemgedanke Ein großer Pluspunkt ist die vollständige Kompatibilität mit dem Gardena-Stecksystem. Der Hahnverbinder fungiert als Bindeglied zwischen dem Wasserhahn und dem Schlauchanschluss. Mit einem Klick ist der Schlauch drauf – und genauso schnell wieder abgezogen. Das ist vor allem praktisch, wenn man häufig zwischen Schlauch, Brause oder Bewässerungssystem wechselt. Ich verwende den Verbinder in Kombination mit dem Gardena "Profi-System", und auch dort funktioniert der Anschluss reibungslos. Alles sitzt fest, nichts wackelt, keine Undichtigkeiten. 🛠️ Verarbeitung & Material Der Hahnverbinder besteht aus hochwertigem Kunststoff mit Metalleinsatz. Das Gewinde ist robust und hält auch häufigem Auf- und Abschrauben stand. Besonders gut gefällt mir der griffige Ring aus Weichkunststoff, der das Anziehen und Lösen deutlich erleichtert – selbst mit nassen Händen. Auch nach mehreren Wochen im Freien bei wechselhaftem Wetter (Sonne, Regen, starker Temperaturwechsel) zeigt der Adapter keinerlei Ermüdungserscheinungen. Kein Ausbleichen, kein Sprödewerden – hier merkt man die UV- und wetterbeständige Qualität von Gardena. 💡 Praxiserfahrung & Fazit Seit der Installation läuft meine Gartenbewässerung deutlich reibungsloser. Kein Umhergefummel mit Schlauchschellen oder provisorischen Lösungen mehr. Ich kann Schläuche und Spritzen mit einem Handgriff anschließen und wieder abnehmen. Gerade bei täglicher Nutzung in den Sommermonaten ist das eine riesige Erleichterung. ✅ Fazit: Klein, aber unverzichtbar Der Gardena Hahnverbinder ist ein typisches Beispiel dafür, wie gut durchdachtes Zubehör den Alltag massiv erleichtern kann. Wer ohnehin im Gardena-System unterwegs ist, wird den Unterschied sofort merken. Die Qualität rechtfertigt den (etwas höheren) Preis allemal – denn was nützt ein günstiger Adapter, wenn er tropft oder nach einer Saison spröde wird? Klare Kaufempfehlung für Gartenfreunde, Hausbesitzer und alle, die Wert auf langlebige, zuverlässige Anschlusstechnik legen.
