I was given this as a gift - the head keeps flopping to one side - is this a normal part of the design?

The head moves if you tap it gently otherwise it remains upright and by the way what a lovely bear.

Are the paws and bum stuffed with pellets to aid gripping/stability?

Not sure. He is washable though so if there are pellets they would need to be Something that can be washed.

Can’t remember the size bought for my Granddaughter who is 2 years old , sent to Melbourne , Australia quite a while ago . She loves the teddy to bits still , it’s a lovely teddy very soft and fluffy .
