Great materials and customer service
I have recently sought some posture corrections to help with years of back and neck pain. So far, these have been limited to sitting posture. After losing a lot of weight, I noticed that my posture needs work when I'm walking, too, so I did some reading and came across the idea of posture correction of the shoulders. I mean, how can I stand up straight if I have forgotten what that feels like.So I tried it, and am glad that this is the one that I ended up with. The materials are good, and there is a lot of help from Inspiratek. The instructions are clear, their approach is careful, and the company wants to earn their good review. After two weeks, I started wearing it for a couple of hours at a time, like to the grocery store, under a jacket. It is already making a difference. My daughter has tried it, too. This doesn't force a change, and it's not passive, meaning that if it feels suddenly tighter then it's time for me to stop slouching. It seems to be teaching me what it means to stand up straight.I'm hoping this helps me in ways similar to other posture changes I've made. So far, so good![UPDATE]So it has been quite a few weeks, and this corrector has started me down the road to something bigger than I expected. The corrector has taught my shoulders what it means to stand up straight but I am struggling to make it something I do without the corrector on. I've been reading about back posture and have found that the most recent information is supported by the position that the corrector wants me to use. This led me to information about neck posture, which comes with its own set of stretches and exercises. It's all been very helpful, but it is not all that easy. I am still happy with my purchase, because the corrector is helping me do what the books tell me to do.

Fitting adjustment difficult without help.
The concept design is fine but the length of velcro is not long enough for self adjustment. Millions of baby boomers and others don't have the range of motion we once did. The demonstration #4 on the brochure can imply the straps wrap around above the waist vs the #3 demo of how the brace should look. Confusing. Slipping arms thru like a back pack isnt possible for many. Option 2 could be to put it on over the head. It is nearly impossible to adjust the fit the first time without help. I've managed but it has taken at least a dozen attempts and even then it is hard to get the armpit support wraps where they need to be. I'm keeping it. Yet due to the fitting frustrations I envision ongoing frustration and right now I'm not at all inspired to use it. Hopefully the drawbacks can be rectified to cover a wider range of users. My best.

Does help my posture but not 100% in the way its meant to
I've had this product for a week now and have been wearing everyday for varying amounts of time. The first day was about 35 minutes or so. The next day was about 3 hours. And the following days were all between 30mins to an hour. During all the times I wore it (over a shirt, never on skin), my posture to sit up straight was corrected. But this was not completely due to the corrector forcing my posture in an upright position. It was mostly due to the fact of just wearing this thing made me constantly thinking about my posture and if I slouched, the strain on the brace was more noticeable. This is not bad by any means!!! At the end of the day, we buy this thing to help our posture right? And if it serves as a reminder to sit up straight through a little negative reinforcement, then it is technically working. So I am 5'9 about 145. Pretty slender and skinny. Shoulders arent very broad. This thing fit me just fine. And I wore it just a little less than fully tight to wear its ALMOST starting to be uncomfortable. It was never uncomfortable for me to wear. But if I slouched, the tightness and strain this thing puts on you does increase, which is a good reminder to me to stop slouching. I work at a desk a lot all day on the computer, a lot of sitting and standing up and down. This corrector does NOT hold your posture upright. But it does support your posture if you are sitting up or standing up correctly. IF you are looking for something to actually hold your posture without you doing any work, this is probably not for you, and you should look for something more robust. My mom had something like that and it comes with a plastic plate that goes down your spine and is way more uncomfortable than this thing. This does its job to keep your posture up through reminding you that slouching is bad (with the tightness it puts on your underarms and back if you do it). Some things to address:+ I liked the inclusion of the resistance bands. Havent used them at all, but they are a welcome little addition.+ The extra pads to add some comfort under your armpits is also nice.- It is currently a nice and chilly winter, so worrying about sweating or uncomfortable body heat with this is not yet a problem. However, as the seasons change, Im almost sure I would hate to wear this thing when it gets hot. Something to keep in mind.- It can be a bit cumbersome to put this on by yourself, especially if youre dealing with some type of injury or chronic back pain. I am not and can put this on rather easily by myself, but Im young and dont have any current problems. I just wanted to support better posture while at work. For older people or those with injuries, needing assistance to put this on is also something to consider.- I never wore it on skin, and even then it often can get a little bothersome in my underarms. I can totally understand that someone who wants to wear this on skin would not enjoy this product. I wore it for 3-4 hours for one day over a shirt and it never got uncomfortable enough to take off. But on my skin, that would probably be a different story.- If you wear this over a shirt, and then put a sweater/jacket on, it is not noticeable that youre wearing something. But if you wear this under your shirt, it is pretty noticeable under a shirt that isnt a solid dark color and a little loose. Tight and lighter color clothing will make this a lot more noticeable.OVERALL:If you dont mind wearing this over a shirt (I dont), and just want some posture support (rather than full effortless posture correction), then this product can be quite nice. I do feel better about my posture when Im wearing it. I do recommend trying it first and if you dont like it, you can return it. If you wanna wear this on skin and plan it holding your spine/neck in place while doing a bunch of active things or sitting and doing nothing to correct your own posture, this is not for you. For anyone else, I bet you (YES YOU.....YOU READING THIS RIGHT NOW!) slouch more than you think, and this can help! 4/5. I do recommend this. -1 star for a couple of the things I addressed.
