I strongly believe LIV.52 is keeping me alive. My recent liver biopsy proves it. In the year 2000, I was diagnosed with the worst genotype of Hep C (1a). I was told there was no cure for 1a...and that the Hep C would kill my liver over the next 12 to 15 years. I started using LIV.52 in 2005. Last year a cure -- Harvoni -- for Hep C 1a was finally produced. My health insurance required a liver biopsy as part of the approval process to cover the high cost of Harvoni treatment. My GI doctor and I expected a horrible result from the liver biopsy. Like, I caught Hep C in the 1990s from a bad blood transfusion. After over 20 years of Hep C, my liver should be near shot. IF I GO TWO WEEKS WITHOUT LIV.52, I feel unwell....as if the Hep C symptoms are more pronounced. But when I return to taking Liv.52, I slowly but steadily begin to feel better. My VERDICT is: LIV.52 is an essential product for those afflicted with Hep C...or those whose livers are troubled. DISCLAIMER: LIV.52 is NOT a cure for Hep C or other liver diseases.
