Works perfectly and feels more solid than the original.

I think that it's great that someone has found there's a common part failure (this was the second time I've had the lever fail on Sodastream machines over the years) and thought, "I can make a replacement, which is stronger in the original's weakest spot". It took a couple of minutes to fit, largely spent getting the old hollow axle out) and works perfectly. That's saved me buying a new machine at around £100, so I'm very happy.
