SAMSUNG OEM B500BZ Standard Battery for Galaxy S4 SIV Mini 4G SPH-L520 SCH-I435 SCH-R890 GT-I9190 GT-I9195 - Non Retail Packaging

I was very disappointed to find that this battery does an even worse job holding a charge than the tired out old (genuine) S4 battery that it was supposed to replace. It would appear that it's very difficult to find quality batteries on Amazon that aren't cheap Chinese (or refurbished) junk masquerading as genuine products.

My OLD (year and a half old) Battery worked BETTER than this. I followed instructions and recommendations. Would NOT hold a charge for a few hours. If someone texted me or i got an ad during a convo it DROPPED. It Dropped EVERY TIME I called a landline. Hospital, Insurance co, bank...it didn't matter. It took no LESS THAN FOUR calls to relay ONE phone call. I put my old battery back in.

I purchased this battery on August 5th as a replacement for the one in my wife's cell phone. I received it and conditioned it as recommended before she began to use her phone. We left on a 1 month trip on August 13thand just returned. Initally it seemed fine. Within a few days, it began to die within a few hours while the phone was being used in airplane mode, with wi-fi at our overnight locations. It will not maintain a charge for longer than 4 to 5 hours. This new battery is obviously either old or defective. I am returning the battery and would like another replacement.

This battery is exactly like the original in my Samsun S4 Mini, except that the "XXXXX" symbol does not exist on the battery end (therefore no idea if the battery got wet.) The battery arrived with two days much to my surprise. Sadly, the new battery did not extend the phone usage time by much meaning I'll still have to get a new phone.

My phone needed a charge every day sometimes during the day. Now I can go 2 days before charging! Just remember to cycle the battery first, plug it in charging with the phone off for at least 12 hours.

This is a samsung battery like the picture shows. The battery number is different from the original battery but it fit correctly and has held up good so far. Phone now lasts all day.
