Great product
I'm giving this stuff a fairly premature review here. Mostly because HydroSilex did me a HUGE favor, and sent me a 16oz bottle. This was because Amazon did not heed the company's cease and desist regarding third-party sellers in the marketplace, and as a result I was sent 2 16oz bottles of completely defective product. I was frustrated, I was livid; all I wanted was to try this product out and not have to pay for shipping. Luckily, HydroSilex has awesome staff, and they heard my pleas. When Amazon wouldn't correct their mistake, HydroSilex jumped on it and sent me a bottle. They could tell how badly I wanted to try this. At long last, my shiny 16oz bottle arrived a few weeks ago, and I got to work. First, I needed to do a lot of paint correction. I am the 2nd owner of my 2015 GTI, and whoever has the car before me neglected the paint badly. Swirls, scratches, you name it. After literally 12 hours of washing, clay bar, wax strip, and compounding, I was able to say I was satisfied enough with my paint's surface to apply my Recharge. It goes without saying at this point: there is only one viable method to apply. That is the dry method. I wouldn't even bother trying this with the wet method, though I imagine you could perceivably do it and with less product overall, be albeit with more haze. Applying is easy, you've all seen the videos. It's easier than using spray wax. Where I've seen a lot of people go wrong is applying to too large of an area, and then wiping dry. It specifically says on the bottle not to do that. I followed the instructions to the letter, and got great results. I applied the first coat, allowed my car to sit and cure overnight, so at least 10 to 12 hours went by before it was driven. I applied the second coat a week later, after a quick waterless wash. The results have been amazing. A few things I want to clarify, because I was curious about them before I bought it, and didn't really see many answers: first, this will not keep your car clean. It will repel dirt in that it more easily flies off with wind vs sticking to the paint, but your car will still get dirt, dust, and debris on the paint. Second, the hydrophobic properties are pretty much unparalleled as far as Si02 sprays are concerned, so doing "water tests" is a waste of time; it's going to bead of you applied it correctly to untainted paint. Third, you still have to wash your car. This coating will minimize the appearance of dirt and debris, but it didn't eliminate it, so accept that you still need to regularly wash. Fourth, their silica soap is NOT ideal for foam gun use. It probably does well or at least OK in a foam cannon, but not a foam gun. It simply doesn't produce enough suds. As for longevity, I really can't say yet. It's been several weeks (3-5) since I applied the first coat, and shave a week off of that timeline for the second coat. In that time, my car has been washed 3-5 times. I see no noticable reduction in clarity and the shine, nor can I yet speak to how long before I'll need another coat. If I end up having to apply a coat every 2 to 3 months, I'll still be satisfied. One last thing: if you're going to get even, thorough coverage, you will use more than what others say. I used 1/4ish of the bottle per coating, trying to use as little as possible, while still ensuring all surface areas received the same amount of product. Still, worth the investment, and I have zero regrets. Fantastic product.

Great product. Easy to use. Stop applying wax! Bottle pump seal durability is the only ding from me.
Everything is solid. I just need the pump valve seals to last longer so that I can maximize usage without needing to transfer liquid. Worth the money. Huge time and sweat savings. A clean Tacoma can be done in 15 or 20min tops. Mustang in under 10 if booking it. Compare that to 1.5hr minimum or about 50 minutes with wax, respecitvely. Comparable durability. Allows for light applications and spruce up shines without dulling the finish with excessive wax layering. Works awesome on PPF too. Gain time back and get an even better shine with see through to paint clarity, just know that you may need to supplement your workout. Also buy nice microfiber cloths and dedicate to the task. Thanks!

Waxing should be THIS easy!
This stuff literally sprays on like water. Wipe it on "a workable area" - then buff it/wipe it off with a dry microfiber towel. It IS THAT EASY. I use a microfiber towel to apply it and a totally dry one to wipe it off. So I use about 6-8 cloths in the course of the job - and I am done. And it looks magnificent in under a half hour. NO ELBOW GREASE. JUST LIGHTLY BUFF IT OFF till its dry - and watch that deep shine! No HAZE to BUFF OUT! This stuff shines up THAT FAST and looks fantastic. I can do my entire vehicle in under 30 minutes - NO LIE. The catch? There is none! But some common sense DOES apply: First - If you have paint that has water spots on it - (or any other "film" laying on its surface after you wash and dry your paint, THIS STUFF IS NOT A RUBBING COMPOUND. You will need to first buff out your paint, with whatever "cut" is required to reveal the top surface of your clear-coat or paint - DO THAT FIRST. YOU ONLY NEED TO DO IT ONCE BEFORE PUTTING THE COATING ON. THEN use the HydroSilex Recharge - and it is just as I said. It is made to coat over, protect, and shine the existing finish - and it does exactly THAT. So far as the frequency of application is concerned - I have not even considered that very much. My truck or car will be dirty the first time it is driven in the rain or on wet roads, etc. - AND will need a good "detailing" again, afterward - if I want to "love it again". You want 6 months? I don't know - but I doubt it. And yet, here's the truth: After the sheer EASE of applying the stuff, I really don't care! I haven't tried building up multiple coats yet, but the appearance looks EVERY BIT as good - or better - than ANY premium wax or polymer coating I have ever used. If I have to do it every month - it is worth it - despite its premium price tag. Some things are just worth it. NOW TO BE HONEST....I started out buying the smaller 16 oz bottle. I was able to do my truck twice and my car once before running out. And I wanted to be fair and give "other brands" a chance to compete. So I bought another brand claiming to be the ultimate ceramic coating. "Lithium Auto Elixirs Ceramic Slam" - 16 oz for $39 - right here on Amazon. I knew I was in trouble as soon as I read the label, saying "there's no free lunch". Yeah - in other words, "you will work for this shine, if you want it". Well - I tried it on my hood - just to see. Disappointed. It hurt me bad. It DOESN'T go on "like water" - IT GOES ON LIKE A WAX! A milky "haze" is what you get when you spread it out, upon application. THEN they want you to let it dry for 5 minutes! Imagine doing only 2 foot sections and waiting 5 minutes for drying on each one! Even if you are good and multi-task your drying and buffing - you will STILL do the work of buffing, like a wax job - AND IT TAKES THE SAME TIME. So for me - and this is just my opinion - So far - the Hydrosilex Recharge is king. Easy - fast - glossy/wet shine with a deep beautiful color. (Until something better comes along).

Definitely works! Impressed by the results!
After seeing tons of ads on Instagram, Detailer's Domain, and Facebook I decided to try Hydrosilex Recharge. I always care for my vehicle, and wanted to get into ceramic/nano coatings. I saw a bunch of honest YouTube reviews, and was convinced that for the money, this was a great solution. I knew not to compare it to CeramicPro, but instead as a solution for a DIY type of person. I washed my truck, then applied the Recharge by the "dry method" of spraying on the body, then wiping in with a microfiber, followed by wiping off with a separate microfiber. I only did one coat, and it took me about 15min to do my Tacoma. All I can say is WOW- the slickness you feel on the paint afterwards is great, and the water beading properties are amazing- I got hit with rain about 3 days after application, and the water doesn't stick to the hood and leave spots like it used to. I was sold based on that alone! It also helps bring out some shine in the body, as the slickness in the clear helps reflect more...the truck looks amazing now! I bought the 32oz bottle and used maybe 2-3oz total if I had to guess. This bottle will certainly last my vehicle plenty of applications, especially if it holds up for the advertised 3 months!

The Best I have ever used!
This product is amazing! I already have a ceramic coating on my car. With the car clean this coating went on easy and quickly. The car continued to look great. Itโs now 6 months and time for another coat, but still looking good! It may seem a little expensive, but itโs worth it!

My wife sentimental Honda Civic from 1998
My wife is a writer. Her first book generated a lot of interest in the teaching community. She got royalties. With those royalties, she bought a 1998 Blue Honda Civic Hatchback - it was built for teachers. Unfortunately the clearcoat was going before she knew me and husband #1 was disinterested in manual labor. A few years later he is gone and the car is rusting. We has the rusting fixed and painted, it looked great, but it did not last more than a few years. We took to a local place in San Diego, they did a spectacular job for $800. About five years later I noticed the haziness of clear coat degrading. I tried a Malco polish of the medium sort and it leveled the paint, but it was hardly shining or glossy. I put a Chemical Guys wax-ceramic on it and it looked a lot better. 4-5 months later it was back to baseline. Now I tried Rejuvenate by Malco as a deeper polish and it leveled the paint to one color, before it was leopard spotting. Everywhere else on the car was now level and glossy but not the roof - it stayed dull. I tried some waxes and ceramic but nothing brought the shine back even after 2-3 coats. I thought this was impossible, was I going to have to spray and clear coat the roof? I had tried one other hydrophobic solution and not the cheap kind, but it did nothing. My arms and the buffer were ready to fall off and die. Looking for something, I actually forgot I bought this product and pulled it out to give it a try. I don't know how or why but I sprayed on Hydrosilex and it "wet" the surface with a small sheet cloth - it really spreads very easily and is completely clear and wiped it off with two sequential micro towels. It says you can wipe it off immediately if you want but I let it set for a minute. For the first time in a few years, Donna's car had an even colored very shiny car and roof. Applying and toweling off the surface is as easy as water. At this point I don't know how long it will last, but I will be back later with that. If you cannot get the look you would want from other products stop the frustration and try this. It was very good also with the black vinyl, but we will see how long that lasts. I think for now to stick with the Cerokote towelettes which are remarkable, but this was close. Lastly, I know this product is expensive, and there are many products especially of this type that are garbage. You really use so little of the product and the spray bottle is quality - it delivers a mist and use a thin micro cloth, not a towel, and make deliberate crosshatching to make sure everything is covered. It even removed residual polish from the vinyl ald left them black. A bottle will do two cars, maybe more. I have two cars to go and I think Hydrosilex really came through for me when nothing else was working. I don't know why his worked when others did nearly nothing. Don L.

Best Bang For Your Buck
Wow wow wow! Finally somebody has produced what others have claimed. Iโve tried Chem Guys, Turtle and others but none of them perform like this stuff does. The paint is deeper and clearer and shines like no other. Put a cloth on it and watch it slide!! Small bottle but powerful!

Great product. Customer service completely nonexistent
Product is very easy to apply and remove with no chalky residue to remove from cracks. Leaves a fantastic shine, even better after 2-3 coats. Applied to a new car with no wax before. Only holds up for several months even with my washing with very mild car wash soap and kept in a garage. Probably less in the winter when using a car wash. Just apply another coat in about an hour. Only issue I had was NO customer support. I left a phone message that the recording said they would return but never did. Then left a written message on the web site communication area, expecting a return. Also no response. Very disappointing, You're on you own if you want advice or have a question.
