Sound is pretty good but the cable so long
So I just unpacked the headset and was a little surprised to see how long the cord was. I haven't measured but it feels like the cord is about 2 feet in between the buds. I think this is too long. I guess we'll see.The colour is pretty sharp. The negative reviews I read had a lot to do with the product not being very durable. But I will say I like the look of it other than the length of the cord. The buds are on the small side with no covers to help with the fit. I think they would stay in OK if you weren't super active but I wonder how well they would sit if you were exercising. I'll give it a test.Don't get these headphones if you want to cancel out the noise. They won't do that. If you want to cancel noise you will have to buy something that fits on the ear or over the ear. They work best for that. The sound quality seems crisp and it seems pretty loud. But I don't listen to things very loud. When I first connected, I had to actually crank the volume down. It's probably down around 20% or so and it's plenty loud in a quiet environment. It sounds better than my plantronics backbeat fit headphones but not as good as my on ear headphones. They fell out more easily than I would like. I only had to tilt my head to 1 side and the earbud fell out. JBL would do better if they had some covers to adjust the fit. I would find these hard to work out in. Not an active workout anyways.Still, for me they do what I was expecting. Unfortunately, I can't use earbuds with the tips that go down the ear canal and help to seal out the noise. I developed a dermatitis to the material. So I have to settle for the directional earbuds. They don't seal out the sound but they do pretty well as long as it's not too noisy in the background. Then I think they wouldn't work so well.

Why you should but it & Why you shouldn't ??
1) Music: The music quality is simply superb and outstanding. A lot of care has been taken not to boost the base beyond a point, in-order to give the songs a pure A-class clarity !! I was pretty much satisfied with it that I almost started singing and tapping for some dance beats and hip hop songs, which doesn't happen quite often. Trust me, you will feel the bass of the beat but only to a significant amount. So if you are a high bass lover who expects his ears to vibrate and completely blow away- this product is not for you unfortunately!!2)Build quality: I was pretty much surprised to see a lot of negative reviews complaining about the build quality and the plastic peeling off from earbuds. Well, let me say this - these earphones are not for rough and tough use. I am not saying that you have to handle all earphones carefully but the way JBL built this product is not completely up to its standard. Not sure whether it cared about the look of it or its profit margin on each product..the earbuds and its wires are a bit delicate and should be handled with care !! So if you are a guy who just throws his earphones in his back pocket or in a bag's zip or uses his earphones in rigorous workouts- then these earphones are not for you! People who can handle it by keeping it in a small box, I don't think you will be having any issues ...3) Connectivity: Call clarity & blue-tooth connectivity is fairly good and has nothing to complain or to discuss about..4) Charging levels : It looked like it consumed 10-15% of the charge on an average, for around 1 hour of usage....but this might vary with the distance, volume levels used etc...Charging it up to 100% took around 2 hours when used via old sony ericssion charger.. Was a bit worried to test it with fast chargers that come up with Xiaomi !!5) Ear fit: This is the tricky part. It depends on your ears really. For me, it fit quite well but it slipped off from my friend's ear surprisingly :). So you never knew unless you try it..Overall, I would rate it as 3.5/5 ........but hey,its not a bad product after all !! :)

No more JBL - Its just another example of why I overpaid for a reputed Brand
Hi, after using a INR 600 Ptron bluetooth headset for more than a year, I decided to upgrade to a branded one, so bought JBLT205BT for INR 1499 on 10th Feb 2020.PROS:1. Battery life is good when compared to Ptron2. While watching a FB video and headsets connects, in JBL the video continues, in Ptron FB refreshes. Annoying if you cannot find the video again3. For sound quality, for the type of headset its OK. At par with Ptron.CONS: Spoiler alert - Lengthy1. The mic quality is really bad, gets complaints from everyone who calls me and ends up in holding the mic close to my mouth. A friend of mine with JBL reported the same.Quality - I am really surprised it is JBL. The worst JBL product I have used.I have used the headset pretty less still it has shown tremendous wear. The rubber sleeve on the both the ear piece peeled off within guarantee time. Have mailed JBL, but due to COVID couldn't visit there service center yet.Secondly the insulation towards the earpiece on both the earpiece has peeled off. Attaching both the photos.During this pandemic, since it is WFH, I didn't have to put the headset in a pant pocket nor inside an helmet, still showed all the problems. So please stay away from this. Conclusion:Since I am planning to try to get it replaced after pandemic, I have stopped using JBL. Mailed the JBL team to keep a record. And interestingly the PTRON headset which I gave my 5 year old to play is still working smooth !!
