Lipper International Acacia Wood 16" Lazy Susan Kitchen Turntable

Great if you're looking for a rustic-looking table top. I had picked up some Tabouret metal stools for a song a while back, and had no use for them in our new place. I got the idea to use them as temporary nightstands for a walnut-finished acacia bed I recently purchased. At 12" square, the stool seats were too lacking in surface area to be truly functional for my needs, but they had small holes as part of the design, including one dead-center. We spent a lot of money moving cross country recently, so I figured, hey, why not screw a wood top on there and go with "industrial" nightstands. It's a lot cheaper than buying new ones, and while they might be rather simple, they'd also be solid. This Lazy Susan was perfect for my needs: 1. It was acacia wood just like my new bed. 2. Due to its purpose/design, it was already finished, came with a wood screw, AND had a hole drilled perfectly in the center, so all I'd need is a screwdriver. 3. The different colors from the wood grain/finish meant I could coordinate it with the bed's dark walnut finish without worrying about trying to match it perfectly. Even better, the various tones matched and visually tied-in pretty much every piece of wood furniture in our somewhat eclectically decorated master bedroom. I was even able to use the smaller wood base to create a shelf using the stool's cross-brace, with some help from sticky-backed velcro to keep it in place. I have multi-port USB charger sitting on that shelf, so it's less than perfect finish doesn't matter. The wood is really pretty with the grain/various colors. I really love it. What's great is down the road, I can revert these back to Lazy Susan and stools with no damage having been done to either. So, if you're looking for a well-spinning Lazy Susan, you might want to pass. If you need an 18" round, finished table top, look no further!11

I purchased this to be used as a replacement table top for a Tulip Base Saarinen snack/side table in my kitchen - it’s about as perfect as I can get premade for a reasonable price. As for the “Lazy-Susan” aspect of it, it appears to be made fairly well, and should serve that purpose nicely. Like most have suggested, it might be risky putting very heavy items on it since the bearing race is contacting the wood directly. But the surface is plenty large, smooth, and flat, at a pinch over 18” diameter including the bulge of the roundover edge. Before I removed the bearings and bottom disc, I tested the rotation, and it was reasonably smooth and centered. The wood is finished nicely, and for my use, I only added a few coats of teak oil to both sides and the edge to give it a bit more protection and shine. For my intended use, it’s exactly what I wanted at a price substantially lower than having a top made at a local cabinet workshop. :D

I've had it for close to two years now so I thought I'd review it; it works the same as the day I bought it. Spins perfectly, it holds quite a lot of weight and keeps everything I leave on my table that I use all the time nice and organized and where I can find it but it still looks tidy. I love it and it was exactly what I wanted.

This product was perfect and exactly what I wanted! The size is so great for a larger table or group. It is easy to spin around so you can access everything on the board. The color is so pretty and very natural and true to the picture. Very easy to use and no assembly.

5 yrs since my purchase & it still looks and works perfectly!

Ok, I'm going to be getting a round dining table soon, so I needed a way to place my pokeys accordingly. This is pretty! It turns, but it is wobbly, unless you evenly distribute weight, which for me was easy. It's not a smooth turn, so if that's important, then skip this one. For decorative purposes, it's 5 stars. Kitchen function.....4. It is sturdy. All of my planters are full of heavy soil. It doesn't appear janky at all. I did find it tad bit lighter in overall color, but it still works fine for me.

So, I bought this for my office. Since I work from home and I also use my office as an overflow spare room with a futon. I use the monitor as a back up and just have it open to Netflix and when talking about getting a TV for this spare room, I had a brilliant thought...why? Why not spend $10-$15 for a lazy Suzan instead of $100+ for a tv that I personally don't need in there anyways? Let me tell you, it is WAY bigger than I thought (for some reason I thought it was the smaller one and not the 18 inch one.) 1. It feels STURDY- like i mean it feels sturdy and heavy. 2. It looks AMAZING-my family member who knows a good piece was there when i opened it up. She fell in love. She was AMAZED at how nice it was. 3. The price is UNBEATABLE- I'd have to go back and look but i barely paid $15 for this amazing thing. If somebody talks about how they want a lazy susan, get this one. It is a beautiful piece. i am going to get a smaller one of this for my dining table and a third for my coffee corner! As of right now, i can't tell you fully on how it holds up to a good cleaning because all i have to do is dust it off. This is by far my favorite investment I have made in upgrading my office yet!

I purchased the 18 inch turntable. I decided to give this product 5 stars mainly because of the quality of the turntable. The pattern of the wooden is gorgeous and can blend in with any interior design. I was not expecting the turntable to be so big but that only made me love it more. I plan to use it for serving condiments around the table as needed and even added a plant to make a pleasant centerpiece. Unfortunately, I had to return the first one I purchased due to damage during shipment. The table would not rotate in a full circle. Instead, it would get stuck in indents in the wood that were created during the shipment process. I immediately returned it and purchased another one because I truly loved the design of this turntable. The photo I took is of the second one that I just received today in the mail and it works perfectly!! I am very pleased with my purchase.

I am using this unit to put my radio chassis that i repair on it. Makes easy work to spin the chassis around. Unit has smooth rotation. Satisfied.
