I tried blowing vapour at it from the mouth and could see the humidity readings changing shortly thereafter.Issues:Screen can at times be hard to read from an angle. I think that depends on the lighting, and is a common issue with old style LCD panelsFor the first 2-3 days it showed a unbelievably low humidity percentage (16-20% where 16% is its minimum measurement threshold). I was consider returning it, but I'm glad I didn't.
