HAICAM End-to-End Encryption Security Camera - E22

I have wanted some cameras for my home for a while now and have spent hours researching which one to go with. Most of the cameras I would look at, because of price and high reviews, upon deeper checking the reviews were mostly fake.My choice to use Haicam and the associated app "youipcam" was largely based on the end-to-end encryption. I am security conscious and until now had not found anything that gave me peace of mind about having it in my home.End to end encryption gives me that peace.I have found the app to be very user friendly and adding the cameras was very easy. I generally have no problem logging in and viewing my cameras, although video quality is not as good with slower internet connections. The photos I included are average quality, sometimes the image is better, and sometimes worse based on my connection speed.I like the cloud storage because it keeps the video off site unless I need it so if someone breaks or steals the camera the video is not lost.The things I would like to see improve to make this a five star rating are1. Low light quality is not very good.2. I would like to see more controls in the app such as the ability to switch between day and night mode.3. The speaker on the camera is not loud enough. I have talked to their customer service and they have said they are working on a firmware update to help remedy this. (Their customer service was very good to work with and I felt like they cared about resolving my issue. Five stars to customer service.)4. Last I would like the app to have multiple live views so I could see what's going on in several cameras at one time and enlarge the one that is most relevant.Overall great for what I wanted and I will be expanding my system to include more Haicams.UpdateAs they continue to update software and firmware I am enjoying these cameras even more.Keep it up Haicam.

I like the camera but the app is sluggish and there is very little info regarding each function. It is trial and error. I bought it because of the encryption. When I look at the dates of the other reviews it is almost impossible to find anything recent. I don't think they are selling a lot of this item. More disturbing to me is when someone asks about a feature, not yet available, the company rep says they are working on it. A case in point is using the app on Windows 10. Someone asked that question back in 2018. As of today it is in beta. This is 2 years later.....Anyway for me it is adequate but lacking is real updates.

It says it is connected but I'm not seeing anything. I paid all this money for this cam, and it says it is connected, yet there is no picture of what it is 'seeing' on my phone. I haven't tried again until today. Where do I view the recorded video? I purchased another year for storing the videos but don't know where to view them. I'm usually good with all electronics but this one beat me down. If you can get me up and running, I will give you a 5 star including for customer service!

I initially bought this camera, tried it out for weeks and fell in love. I have a nest camera, and I hate the cloud subscription price. But for this not expensive camera, it provide two years cloud storage. Really surprise how they make it. The camera App is much good and easy to use, I like the time-lapse video playback.Just one issue, the camera audio is not very high, but I can hear it in my living room if there is not too noise.

I got this camera weeks ago. I set it in about 10 minutes without any issue including the time to download the iOS app. I am impressed so far.I like this end-to-end encryption camera, it make me feel conformable and no worry about my home privacy.The app is good and easy to use, but it is best if I could view the camera from a web browser.The support said they will have windows and mac Apps soon.

I love this camera! I love the alerts I get when it detects motion, etc. and the picture is very clear! It was so easy to set up and haven't had any issues so far (I've had it for over a week now). I love the two-way communication, also! Just a great product overall!

Pros, it works! Cons,! Camera quality sucks, it night vision is cloudy and generally not helpful. I've got a lesser camera from Walmart that doesa better job. The only saving grace on this camera that was a sale I got a deal. But then u Get what you pay for. O momentum is the lesser brand that out performs.!
