KONG Classic Stuffable Dog Toy, Natural Rubber Chew, for Large Dogs

I'm a Dog Trainer, specializing in early canine education with Puppies between eight and 18 weeks . The Kong is the best thing you can give a dog! You can stuff these things with all kinds of yummy things. I love to get creative with the Kongs. Adding novelty to your dog's life improves their brain health. I can't even give examples because I would be here all day. For dogs who eat kibble you can soak your kibble in water or better yet bone broth, then once it's soft, fill the kong with the kibble and put it in your freezer. Keeps your dog busy for a long time, you don't have to buy extra stuff because you just give them the kibble you're already going to give them. (I recommend getting at least one, but up to six for each dog so you can give them their entire daily allowance of food in the Kongs). The licking /chewing helps them relieve stress and gives them something to enjoy inside their crate. I learned this from Dr. Ian Dunbar and I highly recommend his training courses on a platform called Dunbar Academy to learn how to properly raise a Puppy into the best dog you've ever had. He has helpful information for older dogs too, but you really want to train your puppy properly so you can avoid the behavior problems in the first place. It's super cheap too, and easy to learn from.Plus these are great chew toys for heavy chewers because as long as you get the right size for your dog, they can't destroy this thing! AND it bounces, so you can actually play fetch with it like it's a ball. Every single dog deserves a Kong, so if you don't already have one, go ahead and do that right now. You won't regret it, and your dog definitely will love you more.

My dog loves this, we usually put a treat or peanut butter in the middle and she will just be entertained for a while. I also like that it’s durable because my dog has gone through a lot of toys.

I like this toy, but I don't completely love it, and honestly, the sentiment is pretty much the same for my dog. I usually stuff and freeze it with organic puree so she can work for her treat, which keeps her busy for a little bit. It is incredibly resistant to chewing, which is great because she really goes into it and bites down hard when she is trying to get the last of the treat out. The hardness is just right—it is not too hard and not too soft, honestly just perfect for chewing. The material feels very high-end, and the toy itself doesn't weigh much at all, making it lightweight and easy for her to carry around.However, because it is so small, it easily gets lost under the sofa. If I am not right there to grab it for her, the frozen puree starts to melt while it's stuck under the couch and leaves a puddle on the floor. On the positive side, it is very easy to clean and rinse out, but the size makes it a bit of a hassle for our living room setup.

This toy is a pain to fill and to clean but I still gave it five stars because, after many uses, it is still intact and looks brand new. There are no rips and tears and no punctures or loose pieces hanging off. Believe me, this is important because the competitor products seem to disintegrate after my puppy gets to them with her needle teeth after just a few uses. This was a little large for my 4 pound puppy when we first brought her home but she handles it better now that she’s 10 pounds. Plan on getting your hands fully wet when you wash this as you will have to get down into the nooks and crannies. Even though it’s a pain, it’s still a win!

My dog lovesss it, hes not a fan of peanutbutter and kibble in it but he lovesss plain kibble and im gunna try out bananas and pumpkin. absolutely a great toy for dogs, easy to clean besidsss the end of it but im sure if you was a bottle brush itll be no issue at all.

My bagel loves this toy whether I put room temperature stuff in or cold stuff and stick it in the freezer and make him work for it. He’ll spend hours with it and does not damage it even though he’s an aggressive chewer.

Ich bin absolut begeistert vom KONG Classic für große Hunde! Unser Labrador liebt dieses Spielzeug und es ist mittlerweile aus unserem Alltag nicht mehr wegzudenken. Besonders toll finde ich, dass man es mit Leckerlis oder sogar mit Nassfutter füllen kann – das sorgt für stundenlangen Spielspaß und hält den Hund geistig beschäftigt.Das Material ist extrem strapazierfähig und hält auch kräftigem Kauen problemlos stand – ideal für größere Hunde mit starkem Biss. Wir haben schon viele andere Spielzeuge ausprobiert, aber der KONG ist mit Abstand das langlebigste.Auch als Apportierspielzeug eignet er sich super, da er durch seine Form unberechenbar springt und den Jagdtrieb spielerisch anregt. Außerdem lässt er sich ganz leicht reinigen, was für uns ein weiteres Plus ist.Fazit: Ein tolles, langlebiges und durchdachtes Spielzeug, das sowohl die körperliche als auch die geistige Auslastung unseres Hundes unterstützt. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Il KONG non ha bisogno di troppe presentazioni, ma posso confermare che vale ogni centesimo. È la soluzione definitiva per tenere impegnata la mia cagnolina (barboncino toy) mentre sono fuori casa con la mia famiglia.Lei è un po' ansiosa quindi per farla calmare, e stancare, un po' quando manchiamo a casa, basta che riempio il kong con dello yogurt e qualche pezzi di frutta e chi la sente più!La gomma è davvero resistente, quindi anche se si ha un cane che tende a distruggere tutto, questo resiste senza problemi. È un ottimo strumento non solo per il gioco, ma anche per la stimolazione mentale, utilissimo per evitare che la mia cagnolina si annoi o si preoccupi troppo quando è sola. E' il suo gioco preferito! I barboncini hanno tanto bisogno di essere stimolati mentalmente quindi passo del tempo anche a divertirmi con lei, a volte nascondendo delle cose all'interno, e così via.In sintesi: super promosso, solido e super efficace. Se il tuo cane o cagnolina si annoia facilmente, questo è l'acquisto migliore che puoi fare!
