## Description

Review: Fun for the kids but a bit of a hassle - So let me start off by saying this thing is huge. I can put it out by myself but one little gust of wind and it gets all crazy. I tried to follow the directions which are very time consuming. You're supposed to use waterproof tape to tape these little tabs to the slide and use stakes to hold it down without ripping the tarp but that didnt work for long. Could be because I babysit a butt load of small kids so I have 5 to 6 kids on it at a time but I mean it was bought for kids and any parent shouldn't expect anything to last with a bunch of kids throwing themselves and each other down a big tarp haha I ended up just making holes in the slide with the stakes alone. It does rip some on the corners but its hig enough it's not a big deal and the rips arent huge. I bought 2 of these, my front yard is basically a big hill so its perfect. I do suggest using dish soap or baby soap other wise the kids get almost like a rug burn because the tarp gets HOT quickly. You have to keep water and some kind of soap or baby oil on it to save their skin. But its definitely worth the buy. They've had alot of fun and the adults have too!
Review: Great toy! Friends and family loved it! - Such a fun toy! I attached some pre-party photos on account we didn't take any during because of all the fun we were having! Giant piece of plastic/tarp- Now I read some of the reviews and people say this is a huge piece of plastic or a giant tarp. That's not the case. I understand what it looks like but the material it's made out of is almost the same of a floatie or interior lining of a pool. If it were a tarp -it would be rough to the skin and not so slippery. It's very slippery when wet but add some tear-free baby shampoo and things get a little more interesting! When to use- I purchased this 50 foot slide for an adult "slip and flip" relay party we had last year. A combination of slip and slide followed by a small game of flip cup in order for your team mate to go next. We threw this party last year and our friends begged us to throw another one; so one year and a month later here we are about to have one this Saturday! Set up- My boyfriend and I opened the slide up and placed it to our liking. Once we had it laid out we use the anchors and tabs that came with the slide. I used Yellow duct tape to attach the tabs to the slide. Once we did that we then anchored into to the designated holes. (Don't pull the slide too tight while anchoring. Leave a little room for leeway.) It takes some patience to get it right. We didn't have an issue at all once it was completely anchored. How to use- Now my yard is flat so with this relay we all had to do a head start run before sliding. That's not Wahii Waterslide's fault that I was cursed with a flat yard but a hill would make things more fun for sure! We put a sprinkler in the middle of the slide for about 10 minutes to get it wet. We added baby shampoo before every relay. We placed the sprinkler at the beginning of the slide in the middle to separate the teams. Ruin the yard- We used our slide for about 5-6 hours on a scorching hot day and picked the slide up the very next morning instead of leaving it there. The grass was not ruined at all and we had some pretty heavy guests sliding across our lawn. I highly recommend this slide!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this product made of PVC?**
A: It is made of a very thick and durable plastic. It has held up great for us.

**Q: Does it work well on flat lawns too or do you need a hill for all the fun?**
A: If you self propel then really a flat lawn is fine. We added a little liquid dish soap and it was very fast and fun. In my experience I believe that it will work on a flat surface but I havent tested that.

**Q: How thick/durable is the plastic?**
A: It is not thick. You can feel all the bumps, rocks, ect... underneath it. It seams pretty durable. I do not have any tears just minor nicks from rocks.

**Q: Is this strong enough for a 12 year old?**
A: Absolutely! Adults and a 15 year old male that weighs 200 lbs had a blast on this!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I made it work on flat backyard with no grass and bunch of rock. You probably can make it work.
*by B***Y on July 20, 2016*

I purchased this for my son's 7th birthday party. The material can stand to be bit thicker, although that would make it heavier. I made it work on my pretty flat dirt backyard. Here's what I did to make it work and hope this'll help some future buyer. To start off, before the purchase, I used wooden stakes and left over 2x6's to create about 3-4 feet high dirt mound and steps. It took me couple days worth of work to pile up the dirt, water it and step on/pound dirt. I used 2 wooden stakes and a 2x6 for each step after pounding the dirt. I made 5 steps and with very slight slope on my backyard, kids were able to go all the way to the end of 50' side with help of baby shampoo. If your yard is completely flat, I would recommend maybe 6 steps or 7 if you have 75' one. My slope ended up about 4' wide on the top, due to availability of dirt and I didn't want to do any more work than needed. 2 kids were able to slide side by side. I tried the slide directly on my dirt/rock yard but due to the material being so thin, I felt all the rocks. I was planning to purchase some wooden boards from local hardware but I lucked out when my office was throwing bunch of old plastic chair mats away. I used plastic mats taped together with gorilla tape. Once I ran out of plastic mats, I used boxes taped to the end of the slide. Then I placed slide on top. Since kids were going to side in the middle, I only placed mats and boxed in that part. As for additional tabs I used another reviewer's idea of using plastic gift cards/credit cards, overlapped wahii's tabs and drilled hole in same place. I used 6 tabs on top of the slide, 5 on the bottom and 6 on each side and used one metal tent stakes per tab instead of ordering wahii's takes. As I tested out, I noticed that water was running to one side of slide, so I shoveled more dirt under the slide to create a trench to keep the water in the slide. I used a broken oscillating sprinkler (which did not oscillate) about 1/3 way down the slide. On top of the slide, I used a fan hose spray nozzle held in place with couple wooden stakes which concentrated the stream. Just with water, kids were able to go down about 1/2 way. With bunch of baby shampoo from dollar tree, they went all the way down to the end. Inflatable body board with handle that I also purchased from dollar tree worked really well. So did a huge tube. Since my yard was all dirt, I used old carpet pieces for kids to walk. Hope this helped you decide whether this will work or not for your yard. You can make it work. Kids had blast, including a 2 year old. It was a big hit for my son's birthday party. Since my yard is dirt with no grass to kill, I won't be removing it until end of summer.
