I've been using this great green minty conditioner on my hair for almost 50 years. There is no other for me!

I started using Tri in the late 70s and continued to use it for about 20 years and then I couldn’t find it until now. I stumbled upon it by accident on Amazon and instantly bought it. I read the reviews about the product not being the same as it was decades ago so I’ve paid attention to that. It has the same invigorating smell and has the same tingly feeling on my scalp but I’m not convinced it makes my hair really soft like it did before. Of course my hair could’ve changed too. I put the stuff on my face like a facial when I’m in the shower. I’m almost done with my first tube and plan buy again. Years ago it came in a little jar and I miss that jar.

I purchased the conditioner because I read peppermint helped prevent thinning hair, but my hair looked noticeably fuller the FIRST time I used it. I have fine, curly hair, so products that advertise "thicker" usually make mine frizzy, but this doesn't AT ALL. It's prevented frizz throughout this humid summer. Also, I was afraid of parabens for a minute, too, but the one scary study has never been duplicated, and they have to put something in the product to prevent bacteria. I don't want them to change the formula one bit.

The mint scent smells great. Your scalp feels great after use. We have used for a long time and we glad to see we could get on Amazon.

I was first introduced to this conditioner (and the Ecollagen shampoo) as a teenager in the mid-'70s, when an older neighbor explained how her once hay-like hair had become so sleek and shiny, saying she owed it all to TRI conditioner, which had been recommended at her local salon. I've been using it on and off since then (stopping only when it became difficult to find), until my local beauty supply stopped carrying the TRI line of hair products. So it recently occurred to me to check Amazon, my source for all difficult-to-find retail items. The conditioner works just as well as it always has, creating smooth, soft and super-shiny hair, even for those of us with thick, wavy, unruly locks. And if you shower in the morning, rinsing out the minty conditioner will provide a chilly little wake-up for your entire body. I gave some to a friend who has almost black hair that gets really dry and dull, and the amount of shine that this conditioner brought out in her usually flat-black tones was amazing. She's now a convert. The only reason I didn't give this conditioner five stars is due to the parabens it contains -- something I wasn't concerned or informed about when I was younger. If they could ditch the iffy ingredients and still maintain the product's effectiveness, I'd happily give it 10 stars.
