This stuff grew fast!
I'd tried a very small mix of catgrass seeds that came in a cute little dish from Chewy.com, but it didn't make it. It produced very little growth and then died. I followed the directions completely, and I was puzzled when they said to cover the seeds with plastic wrap and put in a warm, dry place for 2-3 days. I was skeptical to say the least. This stuff is growing incredibly well!! My two cats absolutely love this stuff. At least twice a day they chew on it. This is a high quality product that your cat will love!

Amazing growth and color, plus my cat loves it!
Originally I was a little disappointed with the amount I received, but I weighed it out and it's actually a little more than 6 ounces! My cat was chewing on the bag trying to eat the seeds before I even planted them. And once I did plant them, I had 4-5 inches of growth within 3 days! The photo I added is 3 days after planting. The different types of grass make for a multi-colored window box that looks quite spiffy on my kitty's favorite windowsill. He doesn't tend to eat a whole lot of cat grass, but I can tell he's eaten some after putting it on his windowsill for a day.My 3"x12" window box took about two handfuls of seeds to plant in two layers, which means I have plenty left for when I inevitably forget to water this grass for a little too long and need to re-plant. When I need to buy more seeds, I will definitely choose this listing again!

My cats were all over this...
For the few days that they were able to eat it, that is. I can't wait til I get some plain old regular soil to grow this in, as I wasted ⅔ of the bag on two attempts to grow it in coco coir. (DON'T make the same mistake I did.) But I know they'll love it when I am able to grow that last ⅓ of the seeds. It was their first experience with grass that's just more than wheat grass, and this stuff got my fat cat eating more! Definitely great quality, and if you value your cats, you'll get this stuff for them.

Great for an indoor cat who wants to be outside more
He loves trying to eat all plants, especially grass. Whatever variety is outside always made him sick. So far after a couple samples with this variety he has been okay. Grows fast too.

SPRUNG BEAUTIFULLY BUT MY CAT DOESNT LIKE IT
Thank God i didn't listen to previuos revies that stated this was a waste and they didn't grow, This was very easy to grow, even easier than instruction and it sprung beautifuly and fast. I hadanother brand that my cat loved it so much she couldn't even wait for it to grow, but the price skyrocketed so I decided to try this one. It sprung beautifully but the "princess" doesn't like it as much as the other one, she barely eat it. I hope she get use to it.UPDATE: The grass died almost immediately and my cat, who likes to eat it, didn’t like this blend. Is a shame. Have to take away two stars because of that. Even tho is pricier I’ll have to buy other brand I know that lives until she finishes it all, sometimes she didn’t even wait for it to fully grow.

Works
This will grow you a pot of nice soft grass for your cat.My dog also likes it.Or you can plant it outside n the garden and let them chomp it down there.I was surprised when the grass sprouted, because I'm not so good with house plants. But I got luxuriant growth. My cat ignored it for three daysand then tasted itand became a believer. You could buy a fifty-pound sack of any of these grains at the local agricultural supply storefor the price of the three handfuls of seed you're getting ...but then you'd have 49 pounds of rye grain left over, for which you probably have limited need.
