**Q: Why does this smell like alcohol?? After trying a taste compared to the Pyure stevia powder, the liquid has a terrible taste and smells like alcohol**
A: Hi, I noticed the same thing. I bought the chocolate flavored one, and it was so bad tasting I had to throw it away. I'm looking on the back of the label and I'll tell you why it tastes like alcohol! It's the 1st ingredient (organic alcohol). I'm sure its used to preserve the liquid, but it is gross.

**Q: Is there castoreum (beaver secretions) in this product?**
A: It doesn’t show anywhere on the bottle so I have to answer NO.

I can take one on the go, because it's small and the cap is secure, making it so versatile. But my favorite thing is the vanilla flavor! It smells and tastes so yummy in my coffee and iced tea. This is an easy and still tasty way to cut back on my sugar intake. It mixes well and has natural ingredients. I use just a tiny squirt for an entire beverage and one bottle lasts me about 1 or 2 months, depending on how many times a day I use it, so about 60 drinks or so. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vanilla flavor isn't quite right.

Not really a fan of the flavor. I love stevia, and use it daily in most of my drinks and cooking. I bought this to use in my drinks, because I thought it would be convenient and dissolve quickly, which it is and it does. It doesn't taste like plain sweet vanilla, there are other notes to it that may work better in baking, though I haven't tried that yet. Unfortunately most sugar free vanilla syrups are sweetened with unhealthy alternatives, so I guess I'll keep looking.
