Does the color chip with time?

Hi .. I won't swear to this but I believe it firmly .. I don't think you can scrape the color off these mugs. They've got a unique texture that I can't explain but really like. These cups don't get hot when they've had coffee in them .. can't explain that either!

well, what I did, was to do an Amazon search of this item and several different listing appeared, each showing a different color

Can in be warmed by induction?

No, this is an insulated coffee cup meant to keep heat internal. An external heat source is not recommended.
