Blendin Replacement SPB-456-2 Blender Blade with 2 Gaskets, Compatible with Cuisinart SPB-562-3, SPB-7

I ordered two of these blade assemblies for my Cuisinart blender on Feb 2nd. It did not take long for a fracture to appear across the plastic part of this assembly. I ended up with liquid down in the blender motor due to this fracture. It appears to be a design flaw to me, however, I am not the engineer. I cleaned the blender the best I could, thank goodness my blender still works.

I bought this replacement blender blade on December 13, today, March 16, the base of the blade split. My blender was working well otherwise, and I saved the expenses for a totally new blender. So, in my first review in January 2019, I happily gave it 5 stars. However, splitting after such a short time (I used it only occasionally, maybe altogether twice a month) was not what I expected from CuisinArt products. I suspect this was a faulty replacement piece from the beginning, therefore I still give 3 points because it worked well during the short time that it was intact.

As advertised, arrived on time at fair price. Haven't used it much yet.

This costs less than a third of what a replacement from the manufacturer costs and is equal to or better than the original.

Generally these things work but in the last two years they keep locking up after a few months use. It almost impossible to turn the blade because it's 90% frozen.My question: is there a way to get the blade unit unstuck? I tried submerging it in a solution of bleach and water. No luck. Any thoughts?

Makes an awful racket. Don't think it fits right but not worth returning (not prime so costs $6 to return). OEM is $21 and blender is $80 so just going to use till it (probably) shears off like many of the other reviewers then get a new blender.All parts promised arrived in good condition (1 blade assembly and 2 seals).

This is the second one I have purchased for our blender. Both the original and the first replacement cracked in the same area causing the blades to bind up. This latest replacement has a larger diameter area where they cracked previously so it should hold up better. Only time will tell.

This is my third blade in 4 years. I finally figured out that to make these blades last you have to hand wash and air dry.

The size was perfect, arrived quickly but there's a vertical Crack in the plastic body which allows the liquids to leak out

Do not buy this replacement. It doesn't work and ruined my blender. Made lots of noise and then stopped working.

Fit perfectly
