CLARK'S Cutting Board Oil & Wax Kit, Lavender Rosemary Scent - Set of 2

This stuff is great. I not only seasoned my cutting boards but my wooden utensils. It makes the wooden items non stick for the most part and water runs off. I do not notice any odor clinging.

One of my hobbies is making cutting boards for friends and family. After trying the Boos oil and cream on a couple of my recent cutting boards, I decided to try the Clark's oil and wax on my latest board for its anti-microbial orange and lemon extracts and for its carnauba wax content. The scent is very subtle but very pleasing. The oil absorbs quickly and completely into my thirsty, dry wood. The wax leaves more of a pleasing sheen than the Boos cream, probably due to the inclusion of the harder carnauba wax in addition to the beeswax. I like the look and feel a lot. The Clark's oil and wax is a little more expensive than the Boos set and contains 4 oz. less oil but 1 oz. more wax than the Boos containers. While I think both brands are too expensive, I prefer the Clark's products and will pay the additional couple bucks to get the sheen, the scent and the anti-microbial protection. I'm very happy with the results.

I got it at a reduced price and I’ve already used it on my cutting boards. Great stuff, would buy it again once I run low on it.

This combination of products truly renewed an old cutting board that is over 10 yrs old. As it was the first time oiling, I did multiple applications over 24 hours and after the waxing it looks much better.

This gave all my cutting boards and utensils à nice refresh.

Oil was a little thinner than most cutting boards oils but was fine. I really liked the wax , gos on easy smells great ( orange scent) buffs to a dull but good finish.

It was easy to use the oil and wax on my bamboo tea cart. I wanted to preserve the wood from routine water spills and have not been disappointed. Any water spilt, just beads up on top of wood. None soaks into the wood.

I do like the way my wooden utensils and decorative items look now that they have been oiled. Dry wood looks healthy again without feeling oily

Mutfakta kullandığım bambu ve zeytin ağacı kesme tahtalarının bakımında kullanıyorum. Tahtayı iyice yıkayıp kuruladıktan sonra, önce yağı, (tahta yağı çektikten) sonra da cilasını uyguluyorum. Bakım işlemleri bittikten sonra en az iki saat kurumasını beklemek lazım. Organik ürünler olduğu için gıdalara herhangi bir olumsuz katkısı yok.

Reçus aujourd'hui avec mes planches a découper en acacia. Aussitôt déballé, aussitôt utilisé. L'huile est plus liquide qu'une huile alimentaire classique, ce qui doit faciliter la pénétration dans le bois. L'application est facile; la cire est bien également. Les deux ont une odeur agréable. Le fabriquant de planches préconise avec insistance sur l'importance majeure de traiter ses planches lorsqu'elles sont 100% neuves (intégrité bactériologique et barrière a l'eau, ce qui empêche tous risques de fissuration ou de déformation). A voir dans le temps si ces deux produits répondent bien aux attentes de préservation des planches, mais c'est bien parti....

Nachdem wir unsere neue Küche bekamen habe ich nach einem geeigneten Öl zur Versiegelung und Pflege für die Vollholzarbeitsplatte gesucht. Dadurch habe ich auch erfahren, dass Wachs als Endschicht besonders geeignet ist, das Holz vor Wasser zu schützen. Dieses Öl und Wachs habe ich nach den Rezessionen ausgesucht. Ich finde, beides lässt sich sehr gut verarbeiten und gibt auch noch einen angenehmen Geruch von Orange ab, den wir sehr gerne mögen. Ich bin gespannt, wie unsere Arbeitsplatte in ein paar Jahren aussieht. Bisher sind wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Öl und Wachs und hoffen, dass beides unsere Platte noch über Jahre pflegt.
