Good Clean Love BioNude Ultra Sensitive Personal Lubricant, 3 Oz (1-Pack)

This is genius innovative product! Multiple physical therapists have recommended it to me and it has mitigated my need for estrogen cream which was giving me migraines. Such a great idea to formulate the ingredients in females’ own moisture. It has eliminated a lot of chafing I had before.

I love this lube just knowing the ingredients are amazing! I haven’t found anything better out there. I noticed some people said that it causes burning. They didn’t like there is lactic acid in it. The lactic acid keeps the lube in an acidic pH range (closer to vaginal pH). Their BioNude product page lists a pH ~4.0–4.4, and they describe this as part of their “pH-balancing” approach. This supports the vaginal microbiome (their claim). They explicitly say their proprietary lactic acid blend “nourishes” healthy lactobacilli / supports microbiome balance. pH isn’t the only thing that matters—osmolality and buffering capacity also affect irritation risk, and global procurement guidance has focused on these properties for “safer” lubes. Good Clean Love markets BioNude as iso-osmotic (251–400 mOsm/kg), which is in the “closer to body fluids” direction compared with many mainstream lubes. Even though it’s meant to match vaginal acidity, anything acidic can sting if the tissue is already irritated (microtears, yeast/BV symptoms, postpartum/low estrogen dryness, allergy/irritation from friction, etc.). • Patch test: put a tiny amount on the inner forearm first—if it stings there, your tissue may just not like the formula. • Use less + add moisture: apply a smaller amount, and if needed add a little water (since it’s water-based) to dilute the initial acidity. • Apply after arousal: more natural lubrication = less friction + fewer microtears = less sting. • Avoid right after shaving/sex (when skin is more irritated).

This has been great for a coconut oil alternative. I wanted something that helped with making it more lubricated for longer and this was great. So far I haven’t had any burning or itching. No more UTIs. Feels better overall. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars was because of the smell. It’s not a horrible, kill the vibe kinda smell, but it is just a little off putting at first. Otherwise, it’s been great!

Overall super disappointed, we thought it was a good brand, had used sample packs of the same exact thing for almost 2 months with no issues. Purchased the full size tube here and immediately within minutes of the first use had intolerable burning sensations and was completely unusable, which shocked us as there were no issues with the samples of the very same product. The samples don’t list ingredients like the tubes do, so I’m unsure if there was any changes made in between when we got the samples vs buying it on here but had to go buy a different product regardless.

On it’s own this lube dries the skin a lot, be careful never use it alone. Put some fluids that nourishes the skin. I mix it with a healing and hydration lotion cream, saliva or water.

I have IBS and so I've been looking for a lube that doesn't make my anal tissues feel uncomfortable/burn. I found an article saying this stuff is isotonic, hypoallergenic, etc. This is the first lube I have ever used that didn't make me uncomfortable in the slightest. No tingling, no burning, no weird friction, nothing. Most of the products made by this company don't last that long because they are water based and the longetivity is comparable to other water based lubes. I like that it doesn't as slimy or sticky as other lubes though and there is no flavor other than the taste of a water based lube. It is unscented but there's still gonna be a lube smell if you have a sensitive nose. But it's very neutral and not bad.

Good, Clean Love is a brand that's recommended for a reason---it's exactly what it says on the tin! This lubricant lives up to its hypoallergenic claims and makes pleasure experiences much better. I'd advise that, when using, you warm it with your hands prior to applying it to your toys or genitals.

When patch tested on my arm it gave me a reaction to the product- redness, swelling, burning. I was hopeful due to the previous reviews that it would be good for my sensitive skin but still had a reaction to the product
