This umbrella is a great size for keeping in a purse, backpack, or car. It folds down small enough that it doesn’t take up much room, but it still opens to provide good coverage. I especially like the compact design because you can keep it with you without feeling like you’re carrying an umbrella around all day. It’s one of those things that’s easy to forget about until you actually need it, so having such a small one makes it much easier to keep handy.

I'm glad I bought it, despite a few unfavorable reviews. It's lightweight yet handled ( reasonable) wind, and most important, it protected me from the sun.I like that it's a little smaller than regular umbrellas while open, and definitely smaller when it's closed. The only thing is it does not close up in the compact form you originally got it. And I doubt I'll get the cover back on it. But I don't care about that. I haven't had it too long, and I'll update the review if anything bad happens. So far it was money well spent.Edit; it cannot handle heavy wind at all. It will go inside out, so turn towards the wind, to make it go back the right way 🥴It protected from the rain, though. Remember it's not a big size umbrella, though...Also, sometimes it's a little difficult to open- you have to push up pretty hard, and of course don't have your hand on the close button while doing it.In spite of these things I still like it.Update, Oct 2026The latch to keep it open is acting up. It lasted almost 2 years, so hopefully they are still quality made.

This compact travel umbrella is cheap, lightweight, and convenient for travel. It works fine for light rain, but it will likely break in strong winds. Good as a backup or short-term option, Umbrella can be hard to lock into place when opening.

Perfect size, love the fabric, lightweight, convenient to carry.HOWEVER... it is worthless because it won't stay open. There's not a a latch to lock it in place to keep it open.So disappointing...

I just got back from a trip to Asia where it was incredibly hot and humid. I noticed a ton of locals walking around with umbrellas that had a black underside, and I had no idea why until I looked it up — the black lining blocks UV rays and actually keeps you noticeably cooler. I was kicking myself for only having a thin regular umbrella the whole trip!Not anymore. I came home and found this one, and now I'm fully prepared for my next trip. It comes in so many colors, looks great, and does double duty — blocks the sun AND handles rain.What really won me over beyond the UV protection is the size. It's so compact it fits easily in my purse, and you can even hook it onto the outside of a smaller bag. And the case it comes with? Actual a nice zippered hard case, not one of those flimsy slip covers that falls apart. That alone sets it apart.Highly recommend this for anyone traveling to hot, humid climates — or honestly just for everyday use. Such a smart little buy!

Seems ok but it had a 2 in front of it so for some reason I thought it was 2 umbrellas in a pack just got it so not sure if it’s of good quality

I purchased this for travel where compactness and lightweight are a priority; it wins on both fronts. It is not a heavy-duty piece, but it's made sturdy enough for a "just-in-case" umbrella. A good value.

It works as it should. It is nice and small and easy to carry.

After using this umbrella for a couple of weeks now, I can honestly say it is the best micro umbrella I have ever purchased (I bought 2). Living in Vancouver, BC and it gets a lot of use here especially this time of year. I love the fact it is so small I can tuck it in my purse or shopping bag, the water shakes off so easily it's barely damp when I put it in.I was a forever Totes customer, however, no more. This umbrella is far superior in quality, construction, ribs are thicker and stronger, even the span is larger than the Totes of the same compact size. I just can't say enough. This is less than half the price and a lifetime warranty to boot, you can't lose!Thank you YUI Galleria for a great product at such a reasonable price.A Happily Satisfied Customer!

What I dislike about this umbrella, is that when you try to open it, its just take a long time to press the button to get it open and it still doesn't work. I went on vacation thinking that this is a really nice and small umbrella that I can used on my vacation. But I was so wrong, you could never get it to open and start open. I really regret wasting my money on this piece of garbage. If anyone is thinking of buying this umbrella, I would advise you not to waste your money. Try looking for something a bit bigger and your can get to enjoy it on your vacation. I would not recommend anyone buying this product especially. I wish if I could get my refund back,It really broke my heart, because I was really looking forward to used this umbrella.

Very small and compact when closed but also very small when open. Perfect for kids.

I bought this for an upcoming trip, i have only used it a couple times but what i can say is that i am impressed with how light weight and small these umbrella are. They will cover one person and easy to cary. I would recommend this and will update my review after my trip.thanks,

Umbrella is super compact and light which is perfect for travel. I always carry it in my purse in case it rains! I also love that there’s lifetime warranty on this. Pls note the umbrella diameter is less than 40’’ which is perfect for shorter/petite people. Opening and closing is very smooth and I can tell the construction is sturdy. Given the price, I’m pretty satisfied with the product and quality overall
