Complete Cookery Book For The Chef And Major

Love this book. I have had a wonderful Kenwood mixer with many attachments and cannot find the original booklet that came with it. This book has wonderful recipes as well as instructions on how to use the attachments...of which there are so many, one can forget how to use them. Much more than I expected! Also, if you can, get a Kenwood mixer, it's a workhorse. I've had mine for 12 yrs and its still working perfectly. These were made in England.

This is very much disappointing , thought i would have something valuable for the too much money paid for it , It doesn't even worth $1 ,Unfortunately i can't return it because i bought it through Amazon from Egypt , Very cheap book in Everything , Take care please.

My Kenwood mixer arrived courtesy of a seller on Ebay. All it had was a bowl and a K beater, no instruction book. I bought a new balloon whisk and a dough hook but what next.In this book there is a list of basic tools and then a page with small illustrations of each attachment. The next page is a list of tools and attachments plus the page numbers where you will find recipes for each attachment.I have to admit that I have bought vintage and new attachments with different part numbers from this list and apart from a cream maker which would only fit upside down (it was for a A701 and my mixer is an A901) luckily I have not bought any which do not fit.The book first of all shows the K beater and other two tools and gives you recipes based on the use of them such as cakes and bread etc.It then moves on to the Liquidiser, hints on use and recipes, soups, sauces etc.Each attachment in turn is expained and recipes which use that attachment are shown.The book even covers attachments that fit on to attachments. Such as the Fine Grater attachment that fits on to the Mincer attachments.It falls between the ideas of an instruction book and a cookbook.If you have an instruction book and the instructional leaflets for various attachments you probably won't need this book but I am finding it very useful.

This book may be quite old now, but it is helpful in getting to grips with the use of and various attachments for the Kenwwood Chef. It does help you to get the best from the machine, even if some of the recipes are a bit dated now. We have found it useful and the recipes do give you some ideas for things to try and experiment with - which is part of the fun of preparing and cooking meals. Obviously, models have moved on since this book was written and some details will no longer be applicable (as with our KMC010 titanium), but there are some useful hints and tips to give a bit of guidance. The new models do come with a cookbook and some rather sparse instructions, but we found this older publication a useful back up.Lets face it, Kenwood are not cheap pieces of kitchen equipment and anything that helps to get the best out of them is really useful for a new owner (and to justify the expense of buying a Kenwood!!) Just find a decent, low priced copy.

Super book to use with Chef. I gave mime away so bought another!

This is a very good cookbook because it tells you which whisks to use and which speeds to use. I am a new Kenwood chef user so I was struggling to get it right with a regular cookbook. Delivery was very quick and I would recommend this book to all Kenwood Chef ownwes.

A good functioning well made machine. I expect to be able to work with it for years to come.
