This is a much needed tool for my video recordings. Now I use it for most of my Skype calls too. Has a nice notice cancelation feature. I researched for about 2 months and finally bought this. If you're looking for a decent mic for your YouTube videos or podcasts or anything on your laptop, this is just perfect.

Super happy with the quality. Easily preferable over the blue snowball, the ice snowball, and the spark. I say that because everyone uses the yeti, and it's durable. You get no cable with the spark, but you get one with this. I recommend a pop filter for uber clear sound.

Pros: Wonderful tool to act in liaison with Audacity. I use it for my story telling podcast and I am glad I went for this. Cons: Heavy but you won't be carrying it around so you can ignore that It picks too much noise so make sure you are in a outdoor sound insulated room while recording When you connect it to your computer, you cannot use the computer's audio jack (it simply won't work) and connecting the headphone jack to the microphone's audio jack,every single time of usage, is tiresome.

Best professional mic for podcasting or for YouTube videos. Nice build quality with soothing sound quality. Loved it.

Amazing quality, surprised by how heavy it was, very robust. I get great comments on the mic quality. One customer asked what kind of bird I was keeping whilst on a video call. This was a bird outside in my garden tweeting, that is how sensitive it is. Would definitely buy again.
