We haven't had an issue. We usually place an older sheet down, but the sheet comes clean out of the washer.

If you mean does it have a smell, my bottle says 'unscented' across the front, so make sure the one you buy is the unscented version.

Does the unscented jojoba 8 oz lotion include a pump? The other two 8 oz options by Soothing Touch show bottles with pumps, but not the unscented.
