This product is amazing. It does not state that it can be used as a calming down supplement but it does work great. Our Doctor suggested this product to help my daughter, who has Huntingtons Disease, get her argumentative state under control. Since it's use this part of her personality is, totally, under control. Amazing...........One tablet in the morning. One at night is her dosage. Don't know how the Doctor's came up with this supplement to be used in this way but it is a blessing. She and I can now live together and not get into constant conflicts. Conflicts where the daily, if not almost hourly, part of our relationship. Difficult for both of us. She states that she feels the difference in her anger level. This product has not shown any side effects. Just a simple way of controlling a difficult situation without hard drugs.

Nicely packaged and quality product. My dad has ALS with trach and vent. We take 3x per day to manage secretions. It seems to have some benefit keeping mucus thin and minimal. It is hard to tell how much benefit this product offers because he takes several different meds for mucus management.

My wife and I are parents to a young adult who has special needs. A while back, her neurologist recommended this supplement to help manage her obsessive compulsive disorder. It seems to work ... not a cure mind you .... but we definitely see a more manageable person when she is on it. Currently, she takes one tablet in the morning (mixed with a glass of water) and one at night, although her doctor said that we could actually give her a third dose if warranted. We try to stay with two, as this supplement is rather expensive and is not covered by our health insurance. (NOTE: In an effort to save money, we tried using the NAC 900 mg. encapsulated pills, but it was highly ineffective for us.)

This is the most cost effective purchase for this 5 star product. Each effervescent tablet is seperately foil wrapped and insures freshness for good shelf life for each box. There is a 2.5year expiration date that would far exceed my expected consumption. Hence, I recommend this purchase, as NAC is the best way to produce glutathione: one of our bodies best antioxidants.

Very good product for the immune system. I am using it for my autistic child based upon an advice from his doctor.

Great product! PharmaNac really helps with chest congestion and gives you a boost of energy for 24 hrs.
