Celestron 71256 G2 10x50 Upclose Wide-Angle Porro Binocular (Black)

This is a fine piece of binocular that is very attractively priced. I have been using it for the last two days and I am satisfied. The binocular requires initial adjustments according to the eyesight of the observer, and once you adjust it to the desired field of view the results are excellent. In fact the more distant the object, the better the performance. Some reviewers have written that each half of the binocular focuses on a separate field of view, but I did not face that difficulty. It may be that you will see two different fields of view if you look at a very close object, such as within your room. But if you look at more distant objects such as trees and birds or the moon then it presents a unified view. And of course you have to carefully adjust to get a clear view of the distant object. My only complaint is that the quality of finishing is perhaps a bit below the mark if you compare this piece with an Olympus. But then at this price point that can be tolerated. So if you want a low priced binocular that performs well, definitely go for this one. And remember to adjust to get a sharp view of distant objects!

I was in dire need of binoculars. Reason-birding. I read at least 100 reviews etc., whether porro or roof, whether nitrogen filled or not, whether bak-4 or bak-7 and so on. I decided 1- porro or roof, it doesn't matter except for its shape and weight. 2- The weight is about 700 gm, which is easy for handling. 3- In india, nitrogen filled does not matter for me at least. 4-Bak4- or bak-7 prism - The picture is quite clear at 640 pm. I am very much happy with this. The angle of view and field of view is perfect for birding in this 10x50. And overall, it is in my budget..

The product has misaligned lenses getting double vision even after adjusting and unable to return also. Amazon need to respond to this and take the item back and return my money. Bought it because of good reviews in celestron now utterly disappointed.

It was well aligned from the box loved the quality of it .. range visibility is also clear no problem in the prisms or lenses ...very functional the dioptet was buutery smooth was packed well and due to its carrybag provide in it the ease oc carrying is best loved ...the product

I bought these for star gazing and beginner astronomy. Well the first time I ordered I got a pair with collimating problem, the replacemt which I got for this again had a problem i.e they had fibre particles on the inside prisms. The strap provided with the binoculars is very cheap and doesn’t even have a neck support band on it. The cleaning cloth given is not even a micro fibre cloth so it just makes the lens even more dirtier and full of fibre particles ..

I had recently been for a safari and the Celestron 71256 G2 10x50 Upclose Wide-Angle Porro Binocular which I purchased just before proceeding for the tour was very new to me. But it is very easy to use for beginners and at par with professional one too. The clarity was more than sufficient and in a very technical term more than 10X is difficult to be handled without tripod too. When you are in jeep safari, this product is best for kids as well as for adults too. Personally, I liked it very much, as it is handy - light weight, easy to operate and grips are well placed to hold it .....

The binoculars are mind blowing. Feels a bit heavy. Great product. Value for money. Range is very good. Very easy to use. Not compact though.

Gerçekten çok güzel bir dürbün. Başlangıç için muhteşem. Elde tutmak kolay. Ürünün kaliteli olduğunu anlıyorsunuz. Ben gözlük kullanan orta derecede miyop olmama rağmen dürbünü ayarlamama gerek yoktu. Bu dürbünü kullanarak gözlüksüz çok net şekilde görebiliyorum.

Es la primera vez que compro unos binoculares, y aunque no llegaron el dia que esperaba ya que fueron un regalo para mi esposo, valió la pena esperar. Le gustaron mucho, y ese dia que llegaron fue un dia de eclipse lunar, y nos tocó verlo y con los binoculares se vió espectacular! muy contenta con la compra, si eres principiante como nosotros, te los recomiendo. Firstly let me start by saying i am pleasantly surprised. the image is bright and sharp with hardly any haze on the outer edges. i bought these for star gazing and will try them out tonight, however on testing it on an overcast frosty morning, i could clearly see detail in the trees on the furthest visible tree tops and noticed more birds than i ever new were actually out and about. the icy rooftops looked incredibly detailed and i must say i am blown away. i did not expect this level of clarity for the money. the furthest visible leafless tree tops had a very slight green fringe coming off the wood, however i cant be sure if its moss of a slight bit of aberration, it was so faint i doubt it would put off any bird watcher. i will give further feedback once i have been out star gazing to confirm if this is evident. build quality is more than expectable and much lighter than i thought they would be, but still has a good weight. the strap, carry case and lens caps are basic but one comes to expect it for the money, in no way does it effect its performance. i will more than likely invest in a better strap and tripod adaptor. it does look like the lens caps can be easily lost so take care. all and all i will use these for many years to come and doubt i would need another pair to replace these i give it 5 stars as i feel it is exceptional value for money at this price range with a nice crisp image Update.. have taken it out star gazing and could not be happier with my purchase, the orion constellation showed many hidden objects with the famous nebula as a fuzzy patch. jupiter looked like a big star and i could clearly see 3 of its moons. love it and can only highly recommend it. best value and performance in this price range
