This booklet not only serves as a price guide but it also contains a wealth of information on Aladdin lamps. Gives good information of determining reproductions from originals. This is essential reading for anyone wishing to buy or sell Aladdin kerosene lamps.

To price my collection of lamps

I am an auctioneer and I am shortly going to have an auction with several Aladdin lamps so I wanted to do my due diligence and research the value and different models of these lamps.

Had to get the latest version of this, which all Aladdin Lamp collectors should have.

A must have for the serious collector. Thorough and informative.

Before buying this updated price guide, you should know that at least 95% of the material is found in the 2006 edition (#22). There is a paragraph about the newest licensing to Crownplace Brand in Dalton, Ohio and it is acknowledged in a line that the new MaxBrite burner exists. It is also stated that prices are "Significantly lower" than in previous editions of the manual.However, even though published in 2017, there is no information on any lamp made after 2015. There is no mention of the MaxBrite lamps (the new Genie III shelf lamps, the newer Grande Vertiques, etc.). In fact, some of the newer (but not new) information is possibly not correct. For example, the guide only references the limited edition Genie III Vaseline lamp as being model C-6110, but the box my Genie III came is is clearly marked C6170... so the reader is not sure what is correct.The newest regular production lamp mentioned is the Alexandria, which is dated at 2012.If you do not already have the 2006 edition, then this booklet is a MUST for any serious Aladdin collector, but for those who do have that previous version, you may end up asking yourself why you paid 10 bucks for just a few lines of new text. Unfortunately, this book stops at about the same time that Aladdin started coming out with numerous lamps, glass shades and paper shades, many in limited quantities. I guess those will have to wait for the next update to this manual.
