Cat's Best Okoplus Clumping Litter, 4.3 Kgs

I've tried nearly every cat litter available in the Indian market and Cat's Best is truly the pick of the lot. The best way I can describe the effectiveness of this litter is that it does not have the characteristic cat litter smell associated with regular cat litters (i.e. clay based sodium bentonite litter) and your family or other pet owners who visit you will immediately notice the difference. Here's some detail on the litter itself: 1) Clump formation - The litter works very well in absorbing urine and forms clumps that are reasonably firm. However the clumps tend to disintegrate slightly easier than clay based litters you may be used to, but once you get the technique down you should be able to remove them easily without spending too much of the litter or your time. 2) Odor control - Odor control is where this litter really knocks the competition out of the park. Unlike regular cat litter (sodium bentonite based) that develops a horrible smell when it reacts with urine, Cat's Best produces literally zero odor. You will not even be able to make out which room the cat litter box is kept in, leave alone its smell and that is exactly what I expect from a quality cat litter. Do note that this litter doesn't control the smell of feces as well as urine, the smell of feces will depend entirely on the quality of food you're feeding the cat so feeding a species appropriate diet is the only way you can mitigate that. 3) Dust - this is my only real complaint with Cat's Best. All cat litter has some form of dust and sadly Cat's Best is no exception. The bottom half of the pack is always very dusty and this may irritate your eyes or nose if you're sensitive. However this dust it is almost harmless compared to the sodium bentonite litter dust (which is simply toxic IMO) Finally - yes, this litter is very expensive compared to other cat litters and for that reason I regularly try new brands hoping there's a cheaper alternative but somehow I always end up coming back to Cat's Best because sadly there's very few quality cat litters available here in India. (I dearly hope Amazon India does not run out of stock of Cat's Best!) PS: Note that Intersand's Odorlock is the one cat litter I haven't tried yet, so I'm not sure whether or not that is a better option than this litter.

Been using this litter for quite a few months. Doesn't leave much dust. Odor free. Doesn't smell too much after use by the cat - the usual as any other litter. Clumps easily. Easy to decompose/flush. A good alternative to the chemical laden, fragrant litter options in the market. Cost can be reviewed and reduced a bit.

My three cats have been using this litter. It’s been great so far. It absorbs well and clumps well, does not leave a bad odour later and is easy to clean later. Also flushes well. I’ll say it’s value for money

I have used so many type of litter sand. And this is the best one so far. I will list down all the positive points of this litter as I didn’t find any negative points of this product 1. First of all it’s made up of wooden shaving. So it’s kind of organic compared to those bentonite Clay which is full chemicals. So totally safe for your furry friends. 2. If you compare it with those bentonite clay litter, those litter sands gives strong ammonia odour after two or three days and they don’t clump properly. Which doesn’t happen in case of cats Best litter. It leaves zero Ammonia smell. You can keep the litter tray inside your room and your room won’t stink at all. Also clumps really well even after many days. 3. Easy to scope out the litter. 4. Whether it cost you 1100/1200 ; you can easily use one 10 kg packet at least for 20 days if you have two cats at home.

My cats are happy with this. One 4 kg pack takes me through an entire month with two cats. It appears expensive but is an overall cost effective productive. This product actually clumps up so its easy to clean as well and doesnt really have a smell either. Recommended.

I have been using this litter for more than a year and it was always very satisfactory, but for the last 2-3 months I have received extremely poor quality litter. It does not clump anymore and even when it does, it breaks very easily. The difference from previous quality is both really surprising and disheartening. Considering how costly the item is, it is not possible for me to keep buying and testing whether the quality improves with time again or not. So I am forced to switch to a new brand of litter from next month. This is very disappointing because I really used to like it before.

Once the litter comes in contact with pee, it powders . So there is extra effort in cleaning. But the major problem is that the litter gets stuck in the paws of the cats. And hence the surrounding area for 10-15 meters is dirtied after they use it. I have used pine wood litter that have bigger pieces and this issue is not there for those.

C’est une bonne litière, qui va aux toilettes donc très pratique. Ne sent pas trop. Il faut la changer complètement au bout d’une semaine à mon avis sinon ça sent trop fort.

La amé!!!! Es una maravila. El rpecio sí es más elevado, pero lo vale. Aglutina muy bien, y guarda los olores; siempre y cuando, se limpie regularmente durante el día, pero aglutina tan bien que se limpia de volada. Yo puse la caja al lado del WC y es muy práctico.

This litter is excellent for clumping, and even more sublime with odour control. However, it does track quite a bit and I can find it around different rooms in my house. All in all, it's worth sticking with if you do have a regular cleaning regime anyway. The only other downside is that this litter is slightly dusty.

ブラックフライデーでお安かったので、こちら試しに購入しました。 今のところ単体もがっちり固まって良いのですが、お値段が安くないのと、多頭飼育だと継続的に使うとなるとかなり厳しいので。飛び散りを考えると混ぜて使うのが使いやすいと思い元々あった猫砂達で混ぜて使っています。 今は猫砂エンドウさんと混ぜて使ってます。かなり良いですね。 しっかり固まるし、エンドウさんの隙間をちゃんと埋めてがっちり固まっていて、尿の小さな固まりも取りやすいです。飛び散りも単体よりは混ぜて使った方が少なくなってます。 他の組み合わせで紙の猫砂、固まらないシリカゲルとも混ぜましたが、しっかり固まる印象です。シリカゲルはなんとなく気になったのでやりましたが、固まらないシリカゲルの猫砂が、混ぜるとちゃんとくっついていてなかなか面白かったです。 紙の猫砂とも固まり具合は凄く良かったです。崩れ易い紙の猫砂だったのですが、他のと比べると固まり具合は弱めではありますが、崩れはしません。コスパ的には紙の猫砂とブレンドが自分は多くなりそうです。 ただ一つ気になるのが、砂が底が見えそうになる最後辺りだと、木の酸っぱい様な、埃っぽい様な匂いがしたり、底の粉が掃除する際たまにくしゃみをしてしまいます。 ちなみにトイレ後の匂いは全然気にならなかったです。 まだ残りありますが、次使う時は長い期間混ぜて使う為にお値段的にもお得な方の大きいサイズ買ってみますね。

This review is for Cat's Best Original Organic Wood Granule Clumping Cat Litter. I've had cats all of my 60+ years. I've used many types of litter - I even had an automatic litter box that used crystal litter for a while. This wood granule litter is unquestionably the best litter I’ve ever used. What I like best about it is that it is low dust. When I scoop there is no plume of dust like that produced by clay-based litters. I also find it is more effective at controlling odor than any other litter I’ve used. Our box is in an enclosed space, yet I do not find the odour in that space to be offensive using this litter, even whilst scooping. The clumping action is very effective also. The clumps are larger and softer than with clay-based. But they are easily scooped, and do not leave residue behind. I find I don't need to do a complete change and clean of the box very often at all with this litter, and it's easier when I do. With clay-based litter there's always some hardened residue adhered to the box. I don't get that with this litter. The granules are large as compared to other litters. And not all scoops will allow the granules to filter through. I found a nice stainless-steel scoop with relatively large slots in it that works very well. There is one thing towards negative; because the granules are less dense than clay-based litter, somewhat more of it gets displaced out of the box and onto the floor. But this is a minor complaint for me; it’s a trivial task to sweep up the debris. And the larger, dust-free granules are more easily swept up compared to clay litter. -UPDATE- Everything above is true. But when we moved house, with the litter in a new location (garage), litter tracking became a much bigger issue. Litter was being tracked into the kitchen and beyond! I tried a litter mat, but unfortunately one of the cats interpreted it as an extension to the box - disaster. So, I switched to Tigerino Canada litter and am much happier.
