Very neatly made box. The finishing, the look and the size is all just proportionate. One thing that has the scope for improvement is the 2 packs of cards inside could be of better quality.

The box was beautiful but the quality of the pack of cards was very so so.

I bought this wooden box as a gift to go along with some special playing cards. It is beyond my expectations. I was proud to give this box as a gift to my husband. It looks great sitting on the game table with the cards inside. OBTW, it came with 2 sets of playing cards which I was not expecting, they are rather poor quality, but still a bonus. The brass inlay is very well done and looks terrific; and the wood is nicely polished. All in all I am pleased I made this purchase.

I was pretty disappointed in these pieces. I ordered two and the wood on each must have dried and warped within a matter of days to the point where they won't close properly anymore. I've oiled them with wood oil to try and get them back to their original shape, but nothing works.

I just received this card box today, and regrettably have to return it immediately. Although it is beautiful and perfectly crafted in every respect, it has a huge fatal flaw. The compartments for storing your cards are grossly smaller than even a bridge card, rendering the box useless for keeping any cards. This is really a shame, because the box has everything else going for it. The wood is grainy and lovely to look at, the fit and finish is perfect, and the inlays are all just perfect. The price was great too, which confirms the adages, "too good to be true", and "you get what you pay for".

DO NOT BUY!!What a piece of crap. The lid will not close all the way and the wood is so warped that the box has a quarter inch wobble when trying to lay it flat. It looks like a 5 yr old made it in their kindergarten class.The seller should be as embarrassed to put their name on this as I would be to display it or use it in front of anyone.

Much much better this time. I wrote a review that stated that the box that I was sent was very warped and uneven. The cards did not fit properly and got stuck inside. The Box wouldn't close at all. I was sent an email from customer service that stated that they would refund the amount for the Box and would appreciate if I reordered the same box and was promised that if I did I would get a much better quality box and that they would appreciate a good review for the product. And that's exactly what happened. I was refunded the Money Paid, and I went right back and we purchased the box to see what the quality of the new one would be. I'm very happy with the new one. It's a much better finish. A much better product. It looks great. I'm very very happy with it. Thank you.
