Possibly the best gel ink pen ever, especially for lefties
I set out to find the ultimate quick-drying gel pen, and I think this is it. The ink dries incredibly fast, and the ink gets put down smoothly, consistently, and the color is very strong and dark. The pen feels great in the hand, the grip is great to write with, and the clicky mechanism feels strong, precise, and solid, with the perfect amount of resistance.

Smooth and Reliable
These Zebra Sarasa Dry X20 gel pens are some of the best I’ve ever used. The 0.5mm point writes incredibly smoothly without smudging, making them perfect for note-taking or journaling. I love how quickly the ink dries, which is a lifesaver for avoiding smears. The design feels sturdy, and the pens are comfortable to hold even during long writing sessions. If you’re looking for pens that combine precision, comfort, and quality, these are a great choice.

Zebra vs. Pilot G2
I have a lot of experience writing with the Pilot G2 and with the Zebra in 0.5 and 0.7mm points. Both of these are great pens for writing and I use them both, but each has certain advantages over the other. If your hands hurt when writing I would suggest trying the Zebra as I've found it writes with noticeably less effort than the Pilot G2. The zebra rolls with almost no effort on stacked pages or a single page. Secondly, the ink in the zebra does dry very fast and would be especially good for left handed writers but the ink is not waterproof after it dries like with the Pilot G2. If you need to write a check, buy the Pilot G2 and be mindful the ink in the pilot is soy based and dries slowly compared to the Zebra but once the ink is dry whatever you write with the Pilot is there to stay.

Quick Drying !!
My favorite pen everrrr! For those that like 0.5 writing, quick drying, and won’t smudge when you write with your wrist on the paper this one is for you! Before I bought the bulk, I had a pen already so I knew what I was getting. Get it!

Rich, vibrant ink that beats all competitors.
Prepare to be shocked, pen people. I buy these pens because the refills (JLV 0.5) are the richest, most vibrant ink I have ever found. They are superior in appearance to Pilot, Energel, Signo, etc; even better (and smoother writing) than rollerball refills from Montblanc and other luxury brands. In fact, I use these JLV refills (in .5mm and .7mm) in every pen I own, including my Montblanc pens! Don't get me wrong, the Sarasa X20 pen body is great too, comparing well with the Pilot G2, but the ink is what makes these stand out. The only negative is that this ink is not fully waterproof. If you get it wet soon after writing, it will fade (even if held under running water it will still leave enough to be readable); given time to set, it does better. I still use it in field journals: the water resistance is on par with other inks not specifically designed to be fully waterproof. If you need ink that can be submerged for prolonged periods, or that meets anti-fraud standards, go with something like the Signo 207+. But for all other uses, if you want vibrant ink (brilliant blues and jet blacks), go with the JLV ink in this Zebra Sarasa X20 pen.

My All-Time Favorite Writing Instrument
So the Zebra Sarasa Gel ink Pens in 0.5mm are my all-time favorite writing instrument. I'm a bit of a pen snob, so I don't take that statement lightly. It's an incredibly smooth pen, but you can feel it drag across the paper, which is really for clean-looking print. The pen itself has a nice barrel-size with a comfortable grip, and I find that my hand doesn't as badly as it does with others pens I've used, considering I'm a bit of a heavy writer, and that it is ultimately a very comfortable pen to write with. The ink itself is nice and bold, it dries quickly, and I've never experienced it smearing or smudging while note-taking or working out math problems. I'm also a huge fan of Zebra Mildliners, and I find that when highlighting something I've recently written down, only when I press firmly with the Mildliner or make multiple, fast runs over the ink does smudge or smear, if at all. As a heavy writer, I find that this pen doesn't railroad at all, insuring that my print is bold and crisp, even when drawing long, fast lines. These pens aren't perfect by any means, and I do experience one problem with them: Sometimes when writing, the ball mechanism on the tip of the pen will stick for a bit, never more than say a single letter, but I do find this rather annoying at times. I'm not sure if this has to do with me pressing too firmly on the paper with the pen, or if this is a fault of the tip mechanism. Either way, this issue is far from enough to warrant demoting this pen from its position as my favorite, as it's extremely infrequent.

Best pens ever
These are my favorite pens to write with. The ink/gel flows out of the pen almost like magic. No issues with fading or clogging. The blue is my favorite one to use for newspaper crossword puzzles. Easy to grip and can handle being thrown at a bottom of a briefcase without breaking.

Las amo!
Me encantaron y están durando mucho más de lo que esperaba. La tinta de secado rápido es lo mejor para mí que regularmente embarro toda la página. Nunca había sido tan feliz con una pluma, jaja.

BEST gel pens EVER
I absolutely swear by these pens for my school notes I used them all throughout my gcses and a year of BTECS im now going back to my old school to do A Levels and you can best bet I will be using these pens for all my notes and exams for the next two years! I love the ink flow on these most of all, I really don’t like biros because of how patchy the ink is when you’re writing but ink pens also don’t do it for me because they smudge so easily and you can’t highlight over them. Most other gel pens I’ve tried smudge when you try to highlight over them too however these have NEVER failed me they dry down so fast and don’t bleed into my highlighters at all however the ink is still soooo smooth. Also…. £14 for TWENTY pens of this quality is INSANELY good value for money. I promise I’m nearly done ranting about these pens but one last thing I will say is that they are SO comfortable to hold too, like you can write for ages and I find that my hand doesn’t hurt anywhere near as much as it does when writing large paragraphs with other pens. 15/10 amazing quality and great value for money I LOVE these pens❤️
