The grinder would be easy for anyone who uses tools to assemble .The grinder is an excellent tool for general light to medium grinding.. Sits solidly on the bench with no movement even when not bolted to the table. The vibration is minimal and typical of good grinder. I have never seen a grinder run perfectly smooth from small to the industrial grinders I have used. One point about complaints regarding vibration. Dress the grinding wheels with a good grinding wheel dresser as the wheels wear down. . Out of round grinding wheels are the usual cause. of excessive vibration I use this grinder for fine dressing of tools, drill bits, using a fixture against the wheel to sharpen them as well as other medium to fine grinding. This grinder works perfectly light grinding. It is not a heavy duty machine but fine for general home and light to medium use around the shop. The grinder does take a about 15 seconds to fully turn on. It does coast after turn of for close to a minute. A light touch on the wheel with a piece of metal will stop it quicker. This isn't an industrial grade grinder with a inertia brake to stop the spin when turned off, very few light duty home grinders do. include that feature. The eye shields are made cheap but work OK. Someone might want to replace them with heavier eye shields.

cheap, but does work well. It's a light home grinder. If sharpening mower blades, chisels, maybe cleaning up rough edges on steel parts is what you're after, this does it well. Very quiet running. Does not have any brake so has to spin down for a minute after shutoff. If you're looking to hog out and shape 1/2 plate steel... well... It's a 57.00 grinder. The rests are flimsy stamped sheet metal, if you drop, or even set something heavy on it to smooth an edge it's gonna be on the floor along with that little rest bracket. For a home garage/hobbyist it's perfect.

Ordered this grinder because the other Vevor products I've bought were great for the price. First one came in and vibrated badly because shaft was not straight. Returned it and the replacement they sent worked great. The reason it got 4 stars is the tool guides are very flimsy sheet metal. I will weld some extra metal to them to sturdy them up. Great bench grinder for the price!

I’ve only used this bench grinder a few times but so far I am very pleased with it. Seems like it is made with quality material and is a good addition to my tools.
