Before installing the hardware, it made a huge difference just holding the door to be used in the space it was going to fill. This will give a quick visual, verifying enough space has been allotted when the door slides across the track. Hardware is well-made and has the appearance of looking much more expensive than it actually is. The installation process can be conducted by one person. The initial measuring takes the longest. My husband and I are truly pleased with our barn door hardware purchase, and we have plans to purchase more to convert all of the doors throughout our home.

The rail assembly was fairly straightforward. It took me about 30 minutes to install by myself. Would probably go a little faster with a second set of hands, but was not difficult for one person to install.My only complaint is the rail comes in 5 sections, which I was not expecting. This is the third barn door I installed in my hone and the rails are not as thick as the 2 previous rail systems. Nonetheless, the barn door works fine and the rail seems to easily support the weight of the door.I would probably buy it again if it remains in the $30-$40 range.

Homemade door so had to order. The joints on bar coul be more secure but other than that, good deal for price.

I had an issue not receiving a spacer once I got a hold of the manufacturer they replaced one quickly

Cute enough and can’t beat the price but more difficult to assemble than others. I wish I would have spent more for a sturdier one. The problem is that the rail bolts together in sections and not very well. When you roll the door the sections sag and twist so door does not stay level. But really for the price it’s not bad.
