Truefree DS1 earbuds after several weeks of using them daily. The overall build quality immediately stood out. The materials feel solid and well-engineered. The charging case and earbuds themselves feel well designed. The case incorporates a helpful display of charging status. Comfort has also been excellent. The earbuds sit securely without creating pressure or fatigue, even during extended listening sessions. It did take some getting used to the way the earpiece stopped short of the canal. With each use I appreciated them a little more to the point their presence is now barely noticeable. The audio is well-balanced and clear, with good detail across the range and a sense of separation. They perform consistently well across different types of content. Finally, multipoint connection support. The ability to seamlessly switch between devices works smoothly and reliably.

These open-ear headphones are great. They are very lightweight, comfortable and easy to put on and the sound quality is very good. I primarily use them for watching television and the clarity of voices and quality of background music and effects is excellent. The headphones charge quickly and last a long time. I can easily get 8 hours of play time with these and 4 charges before the case needs charging. The case has a very nice display that indicates the level of charge in percent and bars for level of charge for each bud. The box is compact and light and charges quickly. The range is also very good, I can usually walk into another room and still be connected to the source and able to hear it well. Switching between sources is easy and the build quality is very solid. These are are great value at this price point and I would highly recommend them based on my experience with them.

I've been using these pretty heavily for a good 4-months and I can definitely recommend these for my somewhat unusual use case: sleeping with earplugs. I've used them almost nightly atop earplugs, and the volume doesn't need to be turned up all the way to be able to hear. Compared to other more expensive pairs in this use, these are top quality. I'm not normally a fan of over-ear hooks -- feels claustrophobic. Not these -- they really are so comfy you can forget they are there... or side-sleep. I'd say they are normally still attached to my head in the morning if I don't take them off first. The case is actually pretty slick -- you push down on the bottom of the headset and it pivots up making it easy to grab. I have them paired with my phone and PC, and they work seamlessly with the dual connection. The two issues I encountered: * They have a bad habit of waking up randomly in the case. Couple time a week my sound cuts out because they have connected. Simple enough to resolve with a wiggle. Could be mine, could be a bug. * Despite indications otherwise, they do not remember the "Game Mode" setting. This one is definitely a firmware bug -- I have several other truefree sets and the fact that they remember the low latency setting is one of my favorite things about the brand. (I admit it petty to dock a star for it, when most earbuds at this price range don't even have an app... but it's annoying lol) Not all is perfection, but at the $25 price point it's pretty close. These are still fairly new, so I could see these issues easily getting fixed via firmware, and truefree has had great customer support for me in the past. Remain a fan!

This is my second purchase of these headphones. I was so impressed with them that I ordered another pair so I would not have to do without them while charging even though it does not take that long. They are the fifth brand of headphones I have purchased and are so easy to use and the best quality ever. They are excellent for seniors and anyone without technical abilities because you take them out of the box put them on and enjoy. When they need charging you put them in the case and within an hour they are fully charged and ready to go for another 8 hours. I can easily get 8 hours of play time with these and 3-4 charges before the case needs to be charged. The case has a display that indicates the level of charge in percent and bars for level of charge for each bud. I love the sound quality and ease of use. Finally, before buying these when I sat out on my patio outside the back door I got nothing but static from my desktop trying to listen to Sirius music and podcasts so had a radio with a ipod connection. With these headphones I get excellent sound as if I was in the house, with the odd bit of static when I move my head quickly. I have been up to 40 ft from the house and still getting reception.

Purchased to use for work calls, as I had an older version and the battery started to wear out. The microphone on both ear pieces are unusable, and after several phone calls with multiple people saying they could barely hear me, I had to stop using for phone calls. It’s unfortunate because the new design fit my ear perfectly and they are very comfortable.

With my addiction to headphones and earbuds I was keen to try the new Trufree product. First thing I notice it that they are ascetically pleasing. The case has a nice texture that looks good and is functional was it is easy to grip and hold on to. Easy to fit into your pocket. The led display of the remaining battery is much nicer (and useful) that a few red dots. The fit is good for my ears. As they are not lodged deep in my ears they are very comfortable to wear for hours. They are light enough that you don't notice you are wearing them. The bluetooth connection is very quick and easy. I love that I can connect them to my phone and to my iPad simultaneously . The sound is great, good base. For the price point they punch much above their weight. Looks like my new favourite earbuds for now!

For its price, it's quite stylish, practical, and high-quality. I enjoy using it.

Mi experiencia con los truefree DS1 ha sido excelente. Son mis primeros auriculares de este tipo y los elegí basándome en las buenas referencias que había leído. Puedo decir que no me han defraudado en absoluto. Son muy cómodos y he podido llevarlos durante horas sin sentir molestias. Aunque había leído algunas reseñas que mencionaban el tamaño de las orejas y el ajuste, en mi caso la ergonomía ha sido perfecta: se sienten seguros y nada intrusivos. En el interior de la caja vienen unas gomas adaptadoras para mejorar aún más la comodidad; en mi caso no he notado una gran diferencia respecto a las que vienen montadas de serie, pero es un detalle que se agradece. No los he probado aún en espacios abiertos ni haciendo deporte, pero en mis desplazamientos caminando se mantienen firmes. No he tenido necesidad de usar el cable de seguridad anti caída, aunque me parece un valor añadido muy recomendable. La autonomía es realmente buena, lo que permite utilizarlos durante largas jornadas sin preocuparse por la batería. Además, la referencia visual de carga tanto en los auriculares como en el estuche facilita controlar el nivel restante y regular mejor los ciclos de carga. La configuración es sencilla e intuitiva, con varias opciones para personalizar el sonido. Aunque la configuración predeterminada ya ofrece una calidad notable, he probado otras que se adaptan mejor a distintas condiciones de escucha. El sonido espacial aporta una experiencia envolvente y los cuatro micrófonos garantizan llamadas claras incluso en entornos con ruido. El alcance del Bluetooth 6.0 también me ha sorprendido: he podido mantener conversaciones fluidas a una distancia considerable del móvil e incluso con alguna barrera arquitectónica de por medio. En resumen, unos auriculares muy recomendables por su comodidad, autonomía, facilidad de uso y rendimiento general. Una compra con la que estoy realmente satisfecho.

In my experience easy to connect, they connect rather seamless when paired, battery life is good, obviously they're more easy to wear than in-ears and conveys a pleasant sound for casual listening, whatever you throw at them; these are my first of this open-ear-kind and i found the soundstage perfect for acoustic music, variying from string quartets and other chamber music; also music with an attitude like Sex Pistols live works fine and i don't like exaggerated bass. Obviously not for commuting or otherwise noisy environnment as others have found, but perfect for moment where situation awareness is imperative. I used them at a stay at hospital when they were fresh out of the box; i'm glad i had them since i could "sense" - hear - the quiet dooorknock from the night nurse and often forgot to pick them out when having a conversation; i had to be remainded to pick one out when taking the temp... So, not to be confused by or expected to be like Sony XM:s or my old Stax. I bought them for a lower price (23 eur) but they are worth the now price (37 eur).
