I’m no stranger to swiffer. Ive used several of their things before but this is the first time I’ve used this specific product. What attracted me was that its formulated specifically for wood floors..which we have almost everywhere in the house.Like the rest of their stuff, this mop was real easy to put together. It comes with a bottle of hardwood cleaner that you attach to the handle and thats pretty much it besides the pads you put on the bottom.I cleaned our floors with it the day I got it and i thought it did a fairly good job. The liquid didnt leave any streaks or marks, no residue. Smells good too. The trigger was easy to use and the spray came down on the floor as expected.All in all i would say i’m satisfied. The refills are definitely not cheap though (yes, i realize thats how they make their money). So I’ve since swapped them with some reusable swiffer pads (got them here on Amazon). They’re called turbo pads and the microfiber material is machine washable. Love this cleaner and pads more than I can say.I was told my new flooring could be cleaned with a certain cleaner and mop and nothing else (watch who you listen to) anyway my floors just would not look or feel clean with the product they " pushed on me", I checked it out it was just glorified water and a micro mop.I tried Wet jet for wood floors and was shocked !! This is a month old flooring, new wood I thought was clean after moping, but I tried swifter wood cleaner with the strip of scrub on it and I could not believe the dirt I had been walking on!Cleans without streaking, easy to use, only slight sent, and clean floors at last. Love swifter speakers.

This product is fantastic for when you need to do quick in between spot cleaning on hardwood flooring. It cleans well, smells good and the system is easy get out and use for this purpose. I do not use this product for when I want to do a good deep cleaning of the floors though, which I do about once a month. The shape of the unit and pads and the way in which it moves about does not allow you to get a good clean in the corners of the room, into cracks or crevices, or up into the molding. it also leaves a slight film of residue behind so the floor isn't quite as shiny. That said the cleaning fluid does work hard at cleaning up the dirt in the places where the unit can reach and also cleans up dried on gunk well also. The scent it leaves behind is nice and fresh.

Swiffer wet-jet systems are meant to be used AFTER you sweep with a broom first to remove big dirt particles. And they're intended for quick and easy mop jobs, where you didn't notice too much crud spilled on the floor, and not too many sticky spots either. It's great for regular cleaning like once a week or biweekly just to keep things looking nice and fresh around the house. And this particular kit is specifically designed for use on wood floors... but it also works pretty well on vinyl tiles, ceramic floors, etc.What it is NOT, is a real mop. If you spilled grape juice on your floor three days ago, for example, you'll need a REAL MOP. This won't get it all. So there are still going to be some occasions when you'll need a deeper clean, and for that you'll need a stronger tool.The Swiffer is meant for LIGHT messes, dust removal, and similar types of cleaning. It's quick and easy. And the cleaning pads are disposable. Please, don't be one of those nasty people who leaves the same dirty pad on your Swiffer for three weeks. Throw the pad away when you're done cleaning your floors - that's what it's made for. I use mine on my kitchen and living room, then throw that pad away and get a new one to do the hallway and the bathroom. REMEMBER if you're cleaning multiple rooms, if you use a pad in one room then move to another room, you're wiping whatever you picked up from the first room onto the floor of the second room now. That's why I do my bathroom LAST and my kitchen FIRST, and I change pads after only doing 2 areas. It avoids cross-contamination that way.

No problems here, this set includes a large box of swiffer wetjet pads and the hardwood floor cleaner canister, just as shown. I love my swiffer! It makes for quick and easy cleaning up of small accidents as well as cleaning individual rooms.I would not recommend this for deep cleaning or cleaning an entire house all at once; for those chores you will want to use a mop that can better get into crevices and be regularly wrung clean - these pads won't do that. If you have dogs, kids, or just a super busy life, you will find this makes it much easier to keep your house clean and tidy.

Love this product. Easy to use and cleaner works well as dries quickly as advertised.Used it after cleaning up New Year’s Eve dinner party. Last job of the evening or better said, first job of the New Year. lol.
