Matching lip shades to my complexion can be tough when I want a colour to be deep enough to be dramatic (I'm a goth), while also echoing my natural lip-tone to "light" the rest of my features. Well, we have a winner. Devils Food Cake is the perfect shade for Snow Whites who want to put a bit of blood into their lips, & it applies just wonderfully - the point of the doe-foot applicator allows for precision application, while still picking up plenty of pigment on each dip. It doesn't smudge easily, with a liner, & it feels comfortable; it's never sticky but somehow also never slimy - more like a glaze than a gloss! It feels conditioning, but not greasy, & I *love* that it's unscented & unflavoured. I don't know how long it'll last on my lips; it *is* only a gloss, after all, & it'd just be unfair to expect it to behave like anything else. But I can say that while it lasts, the colour wears true. And this hue is just *so* flattering for a blue/pink-toned complexion.
