I was looking for a ‘food grade’ bucket to prep our 20 pound thanksgiving turkey over night. This worked great. The lid seals really tight. I didn’t realize you need to rip the tab off to open the bucket once sealed. I spent far too long trying to open it with all my strength for 15 minutes to no avail before realizing. That speaks to the strength of the seal!

Terrific, but too expensive. Have bought again, very hard to open the lids needs pail opener.

I'm using these for my bulk bread flour, wheat flour and popcorn kernels. I didn't realize it but they are made so that once you put the lid on the first time, it is sealed. So I had to break the plastic seal to open it up. I't wasn't a problem, just didn't realize it was that kind of bucket.

Okay, they are way expensive, but the sellers are friendly and the product is extra sturdy.

I'll be buying more. The made in the USA label always gets my attention, I'm willing to pay more for made in the USA. BUT. Not only are these made in the USA but it's a veteran owned company. The price is great and these are great, sturdy, food grade buckets by the way.

These buckets do what they are supposed to do ---and that is to provide an air tight vessel for long-time storage of emergency food items when allother procedures are followed -- such as placing an oxygen absorber on top of the items being stored inside the mylar bag, sealing the mylar bag , and, of course, putting the bucket lid on securely.

Buckets came so stuck together I could not pull apart. Luckily I found a trick online to run hot water on the outside bucket for about 30 mins, after that had no problems unsticking. It was most likely UPS which caused this, so I don't think it was the manufacturer.

I got these for storing rice and other food products, so, they're perfect for my use. The color, although white, is also a little translucent, so you can still kind of see what's inside (which I find useful). I will be using these with Gamma Seal lids to make opening/closing them much more convenient. These were delivered in very short time. I would buy these from this seller again.
