The item received was not as in picture only had two plates a very cheap China imitation I would almost say that it's a knock off of the real Broner hat I have one original Broner hat left that I bought years ago very good quality this one that I got is junk I bought a Chinese replica in Sacramento California at the Train Museum and it's even better than these

Never try to second guess the hat size of another person's head
I overestimated the head size of the person who was to receive this hat as a gift.His head does not swim in it, but it wasn't snug enough to stay on his head while working outdoors as he does most of the day.The first day I met him, late last year, I was wearing my "fatigue" engineer's hat. First words he spoke to me were, "I like that Hat, I want one". When I met his wife, I asked her for his hat size, she noted not having the slightest idea.The literature I looked at last week noted being able to return the item if the size was a problem and think it was stated at the bottom of the hat size table. That table, seen while then trying to guess the hat size, is not accessible at this point in time. So I can not show that to be the case.I had envisioned returning that hat and reordering the next size smaller than Medium, Small.If worse comes to worse, I'll be content to order and pay for a Small version, and keep the Medium too.

Fit, form, function, color
The color. I wanted a denim blue railroad cap, I saw it, it was my size and the rest "history". Well pleased with the product. In fact I have two more in my wish list, workers brown and traditional hickory striped.

Nice quality hat
I did not want an adjustable “one size fits all” hat and this fits the bill. This is a high quality hat that looks just like the picture.

Old man down the road had me order this as part of his burial plans. Wants to be buried in this hat. I think that says plenty!

Fair quality, shrinks a half size on washing
Fairly well constructed, but it shrinks (because it’s cotton) one half to one full size down on washing.

It was a gift for a friend who likes everything railroad. His old hat had seen it's better days. I loves the new one and is wearing it a lot. It was made of quality denim and nice overall.

My dad loves this. It’s a little on the large side though.
