You can draw on dark tinted paper also; and the pens do a great job at that. Does write on other smooth surfaces but can be wiped off easily (not permanent).-- The colours are not very vibrant (as expected from metallic shades). Also don't expect mirror type shine.-- However, they offer something absolutely new to play around with and can blend well with your artwork.
