I still have to tell everybody that this general purpose dongle is a terrible concept. First
I bought this item for AirPlay but apparently it doesn't work with iOS 9.x and I had to return it. I still have to tell everybody that this general purpose dongle is a terrible concept. First, it is ridiculously complicated. The way it is connected to your device and your WiFi router is convoluted and cumbersome. Look at Microsoft's display adapter, you just plug it in and it WORKS! Wish Apple had something like that and you didn't need Apple TV for AirPlay. Second, there is a long list of entirely unnecessary and poorly designed apps. Why apps when you just have to properly mirror the display!?! It boggles my mind. Third, the dongle works to some extent (this is why I didn't give only one star) but video performance is dismal and resolution and picture quality is unacceptable. This device is just not ready for prime time and I am afraid we'll have to wait for Apple to introduce something sensible to the market.

Good stuff :)
Iv had this dongle for a little over a month now. Works very well! Its fast and easy to install. Mirroring is very good on my PC and my Nexus 5 phone. However, if u have an older phone you might have trouble getting mirroring to work. Reason I give it 4 stars is: Sometimes it loses connection, the blue light on it is very bright, it needs to connect to WiFi for it to work online. The WiFi issue is my biggest. If ur on your smart phone and want to stream content online you need to be connected to a WiFi with internet access. It would be nice to be able to connect to the dongle and still be able to use your phones internet like 3g/4g(LTE). Other than that its great and I love my purchase. Oh ya, mirroring is fast enough for most games on a PC but a little slow on my phone.

Most versatile screen cast dongle out there
Working well so far to cast a computer and cell phone screen using EZCast Pro. The setup instruction are a little weak. The unit was unable to operate using the Television USB port (needs more amperage) but works well with a plug in USB charger. EZCast software is downloaded from a third party and is not totally intuitive, but we got it going without too much trouble. I recommend that you use the specific app within EZCast to display different media (use the video app to show video, etc.) rather than showing everything in full screen mirroring. Video is jittery if you do not use the video app.

Wont work if you dnt have a router with internet.
I got this device because I want to stream my screen to the TV while watching Netflix , Youtube and other internet services. The problem is that once connect to the device as router it wont have internet connection. Other words, doesn't without other internet provider beside your phone carrier. You can stream local files and movies to the TV but, the whole point is to stream to TV internet content! So doesn't work that way! Dnt buy this product if you dnt have comcast, TWC or other internet provider.

Doesn't work, no support.
Got it to ALMOST work once. Getting devices to see it AND connect to it is next to impossible and their website is worthless. I've tried 3 iOS devices, 2 android phones, 3 PCs, 2 MACs and have tried to use different TV's, Monitors etc. Some of the devices can see it, try to connect and then nothing. Buy something else that works and has support.

Disappointed
This product did not perform as expected. I spent about 6 hours trying to make it work. I could connect my apple devices and mirror the screen to the TV but the picture was grainy at best and completely pixelated and unwatchable most of the time. I never was able to get the miracast functionality working with my Microsoft Surface Pro 3. There are a few simple apps on the device to watch videos. These seemed to function fine but that is not what I bought the device for. I bought the device to mirror my phone, iPads and Surface to the TV screen wirelessly. I am very disappointed.

Works best with android devices
Works best with android devices. Windows devices don't connect as easily. That being said once you do connect it works ok.
