I use a swimmers shampoo to remove the chlorine afterwards, then apply this and let it sit a few minutes while I soap off the rest of my body. I rinse most of the way out. This conditioner makes my somewhat thick hair VERY soft. It has also enhanced my natural hair highlights - almost to the sparkly point. Really great product!
