They aren't Japanese, and the brush is already feeling a little used. Would look elsewhere next purchase, easy to rub off hands if you smudge your wonderful art or notes.

My granddaughter wants to learn Japanese I brought her a Japanese writing book along with these lovely pens and she absolutely loves the pens perfect for the job

These are not Calligraphy pens they are just like a black felt tip very disappointed.

Sehr schöne Stifte. Ich hab mir das Set zum Üben von Schriftzeichen geholt und finde, dass die deutlich besser aussehen als mit einem normalen Kugelschreiber. Sie sind keine High-End Stifte, aber erfüllen ihren Zweck allemal! Besonders für < 3 € pro Stift.

Sto facendo questa recensione dopo tantissimo tempo di utilizzo, non sono ancora terminate seppur io le abbia usate tutti i giorni da quando le ho comprate. Hanno 3 tratti molto differenti utili per qualsiasi progetto, veramente ottima è la punta brush, non si è mai rovinata anche se la utilizzo malissimo. Il colore è un nero intenso che non lascia schizzi e molto pulito. Veramente di ottima qualità.
