3-D Texture Fades Embossing, Botanical Folder

I always loved to play with embossing folders. They are the key to fast and fabulous cards. 3D folder brings it on a whole different level by making images more profound and, when colored - spectacular. Put a sentiment on, spray it with multicolor Krylon spray and dazzle your recipient. Jennifer Mcguire, a YT star and a Professor of the University Of Cardmaking (that's how I call her ;-)), recently made a video specifically for the use of 3D embossing folders - a must-see for those who own it or thinking about n it. Totally worth 5 stars!!!

Lovely design

WOW! This impression is just GORGEOUS - even on regular card stock! Simply stunning and classy! Gonna try it on all kinds of papers. I was a little confused at first running it through my die cutting machine because it wouldn't roll through with a plate on top. Once I ran it through without a top plate, it embossed just fine. It's a very thick folder, so depending on the type of machine you have, a top plate may not be necessary.

This came fast, was as described by seller. Works great. Has a nice raised 3d look to it. Would buy from seller again.

Paper and envelope embossing. Really 3D design! Love the deep details

I’m using it on Handmade cotton rag papers. I took a page out of other more learned artists’ rule books and am spritzing the paper with water before running it through my BigShot with this folder. Perfection.

This is such a beautiful floral embossing folder. It is deep and easy to get a great impression. I love adding color to either side of the folder to make my cards more interesting - and to make them quickly! I highly recommend it!

I ordered both the ELEGANT (roses) and the BOTANICAL embossing folders. Both are very nice designs although the roses would be my favourite of the two as it has beautiful detailing of the rose and leaves. The Cuttlebug is not listed but it does in fact work with both, which is wonderful.The overall dimensions of the folders are 4-1/2” x 6-1/2” which is a nice size for greeting cards and the width fits into the Cuttlebug mouth easily. However, these type of folders are thicker (1/4” thick) than the older style embossing folders so standard sandwiching must be altered to work with the Cuttlebug.To help others with this particular machine, I used the following for my sandwiching:-A Plate-B Plate-Embossing Folder with Cardstock inside (ensure good side of Cardstock and folder label are both facing in the same direction.)**The folder was on the top of my sandwich as opposed to a plate and it worked quite fine.In my particular machine I found that thicker cardstock produced really nice designs but that with thinner cardstock I used an additional thin piece of cardstock as a shim to make the sandwich a little thicker which made the design pop a little better.I really hope this review was helpful!

Though rather thick so I have to use the thinnest board with the rubber mat and a piece of card stock in my spellbinder die cutter. I love the clear embossing it gives

La consiglio , usata con la big shot da bellissimi risultati. Non è molto grande ma vale la pena. Se poi ci passate sopra un distress ink con tampone valorizzate l' effetto 3D
