Waterproof, I use it with watercolors
I been looking for new ways to ink my watercolor pieces and this seemed to work the best! I have used sakura microns, and other types of waterproof ink pens. Since I use watercolor paper, especially cold-press paper, it eats away at the nib and sucks up the ink really fast. So it was not efficient.I have tried other inks, but most inks I purchased were water "resistant" but still smeared or bled when I painted over it with watercolors. I like to sketch then ink my piece and then color it. I know some watercolorist line their piece last but it isn't the way I like to draw so it was difficult finding the right ink. This ink has done wonders! I like the consistency of the ink that it flows nicely without drying up too fast that I have to continuously dip my brush for more ink. I also like that I can mix a little but of water to dilute the ink yet when it dries it is still water resistant. I do recommend to shake the bottle before use since most of the pigment rests at the bottom. Sometimes I get some lines that are lighter or darker on some areas of my pieces because the pigment isn't fully mixed in but the affects are nice so it doesn't bother me much.Overall, great purchase and it is relatively cheap! I been drawing a lot with it and hasn't made much of a dent. I can definitely see this lasting me a long time. Would definitely purchase again in the future.

Great for coloring PLA
India ink work great for coloring PLA, especially if you added some underlying highlights to the model for applying the ink.

Almost perfect
From the perspective of someone who uses this ink to draw in dip pens:Pros:· Dries fast· Waterproof (not just water resistant)· Nice color· Comes with dropper· Does not come off or fade with eraserCons:· Slightly glossy, think graphite against light (not matte)· Not alcohol proof, meaning you cannot use this with copic nor prismacolor markersPlease note that you NEVER use Indian Ink in fountain pens, only dip pens and brushes.

Waterproof ink
A little ink goes a long way. I've used this before for drawing and writing but I've also used India ink for staining unfinished wood which is why I purchased this ink this time. One little bottle stained an entire bamboo and wood slatted cube (all sides) side table and I still have ink left. The ink dries quickly and it's a lot cleaner and easier to use than stain. Since others are probably considering it for other projects, this ink is excellent for all ink projects and doesn't clog your pen nibs quite as much as other inks, I've found.

Perfect brown ink for drawing!
Love this ink for Zentangles and other pen and ink drawng. Used with a dip nib and it works well. Nice milk chocolate color, which I highlighted with the irridescent copperplate gold. Lovely!

stick and poke
tried this out as a stick and poke on my palm to see how long it lasts even on a well worn area. Worked great. Definitely safe and as long as you don't go too deep, I can scratch it out if I work at it a little.

Not for dip pens
I wanted to use this ink to do the line art of my drawings, but I couldn't make it flow through any of my pen nibs (I'm using Speedball's sketching pen set). It did work on a Turkey feather though, but even then, the line didn't come as a solid even brown, but looked rather translucent at parts, like I was trying to ink with diluted coffee. I haven't had that issue with other inks, so I'm definitely returning this.It is indeed waterproof though, I'll give it that.
