I am happy with this headset
I am happy with this headset. Its light weight, comfortable to wear, battery lasts more than a day even after heavy use, has long range of usage and has better audio quality. I am using it for normal use (listening to music, Skype calls on laptop and as hands free device on smartphone) as well as for video editing. Audio quality is not to the point of studio quality but stands in par in most situations. Microphone works great but picks up wind noise and also it is little bit soft (Not a major issue). I switch headset between my phone (NFC enabled) and laptop (non-NFC enabled) quite easily. It will not connect to both of them simultaneously. It takes around 45 min to charge it completely. When battery is low, audio quality is poor and you will also see indicator light change. You can't use it while charging and also you can't use it with audio cable when its completely discharged. That function would have been nice. For this price, this is more than I could ask for.Hack: To switch from NFC enabled phone to non-NFC enabled Bluetooth laptop. (Pair your headset to the laptop at least once)1) turn your phone's Bluetooth OFF.2) Turn-off and turn-on head set. This removes previous connection protocol from it.3) On your laptop, try disabling and re-enabling Bluetooth. Upon re-enabling Bluetooth, laptop searches for previously paired devices (headset). Head set will be found and connected (You will see notification on laptop screen and audio notification in head set). If this doesn't work try next step.4) Hibernate your PC, and wake it up (Win 8 takes less than 10 sec to do this). When PC wakes up, it looks for previously paired devices. Head set will be connected and you will see notifications.5) These steps usually work but occasionally they don't. In such situations, delete paired devices from your laptop settings and repair the headset. This should fix the problem.Let me know if there is any better way.

Love it!!
I cannot find anything bad about this headset. Good aspects are:• Long battery life. I am not sure how long because I only ran out of power twice after using it for months; I sometimes fell asleep at night having it on and it was well alive in the morning and could be used for another day. I charge it less frequently than my Note 3 phone at least.• Very clear sound, good volume range. I read some reviews about wireless headsets being too quiet or having bad sound quality. I am not crazy about music or what so ever about sound. I can only say that I feel there is no difference between this pair and the original iPhone’s earphone.• Good range. If I put it in the middle of my house, it can cover the whole first floor. It does not do well if I go outside or try to go to one end of the house while the player is on the other end. My house is about 1400 sq ft at the first floor.• Nice looking. It is obviously a head set, not too big or heavy. Very comfortable on my ears. Some wireless earphone may look like a high tech toy or medical device on your head. This one does not make me look funny.• Very good for answering phone calls. Just need to press one button. Very clear. When I make a call, the head set automatically switch to talking mode and silent the music. Whatever playing will be resumed once the call is over.Love it. This is my first pair of wireless headset, so there is no compare, but I feel I get the right thing the very first time.

Decent sound quality, strong battery, long range with some caveats
I have a Sony Xperia Z so being vain, I wanted a headset that would ideally work well with the device (the promotional material by Sony used an Xperia Z). NFC works great with the Xperia Z out of the box. If you have another non sony handset with NFC. Look in the play store for Sony NFC Easy Connect. It will allow pairing of bluetooth devices with NFC.The sound quality out of these headphones is permissible. If you use a Sony Xperia Z or other android handset, The default Walkman Music player is horrible with this device. In the walkman music player app, sound seems to be post processed a lot and comes out just wrong. I use Apollo Music player (not in play store) and now it comes out great. Bass is controlled and the range from mids to high sound accurate and not overemphasized (no dsp needed). Sound quality if already on par with a 50-75 dollar headphone in my opinion.Since getting it 2 and a half months ago. I have not found a need to charge it very often (5-6 times total so far).I pretty much use it everyday averaging about 1-2 hours a day. With my phone in the dock, I get pretty good range and can move across my small apartment unhindered with clear skip free audio. My apartment does not have a lot of walls to mess with the signalCaveats:On my unit, sometimes the spring loaded next track slider gets stuck (I live in a very cold place and use it as earmuffs in the winter) not a big deal, just slide it up then down. When it's warm and I'm indoors it works no problem. While walking, When I turn my head to the right (80-90degrees) with my phone in my right front pants pocket, the signal gets attenuated, resulting in skipping. Likely because of the bluetooth receiver being in the right earcup and now having to travel through my body.Headset mode works fine using my phone. It doesn't work on my computer running Windows 8.1 with Atheros bluetooth driver (Acer 3830tg). It causes my audio service to crash and I can't restart it short of a reboot. When you pair it to Windows, two entries are added in Sound PlayBack devices: DR-Btn200 Headphones and DR-BTN200 headset. Headphones works fine but not headset. Headset also exists in Recording devices (which is the part that usually crashes the Volume App.
